A hoard should be special to you or a design you like, it would definitely be easier for you to pick a pet you want to hoard yourself, or at least tell people what you like.

Agreed. What colors do you like? Themes? Favorite hobbies or pastimes? It would all help.

Sometimes others notice pets I would never notice and I really like them……i like to see what other people think sometimes. I don't have anything special or to my particular liking. If I like what I see I'll hoard it.. Some are special but a few only a few..m

I agree. I think some people are too flighty with their hoards. If you don't pick carefully you'll end up hoarding a pet you will lose interest in and all your hard work would have been for nothing!

Is there a thread which tells you what pets were released on what day? Like for Advent every year?
Though I'm pretty sure I never like what comes out on my birthday

I hoard these because I love Peacocks.
I hoard these because, again, I love Peacocks.

I hoard these because when I first saw them, I could not stop laughing! It was like the "Troll" of Christmas! I love them so much!
I Hoard these for the lovely colors and simple designs.
I hoard these because I simply love the design and how tasty they look xD
I hoard these because I love how the cat looks, reminds me of my own.
I hoard these because I enjoy the different browns in the design.


I'm sure you can find something you would love to hoard!

I did read your rules, but the horse is all I have to afford it and every single time I sent an offer I get this;
I don't like horses.
Nobody likes horses. That's why it was a mistake to collect so many, and I can't get rid of them. I have no other fodder to get those dogs. ._.

Hmmm, I have always been puzzled why so many people on this site dislike horses. I can understand rats and spiders, but horses? They're beautiful animals!

...maybe I should start a horse hoard. I'll have to think about just which one/ones I want to collect...

A lot of people are scared of horses, they are big animals and can be intimidating. I'm not, but quite a few people I know IRL are. That's probably why. ;a; I'm more scared of dogs than horses. XD

...maybe this month's horses. I'm trying to let everything grow up, both because then I can be sure that I like what I'm collecting and then it will be less of an impulse hoard, but... they do look quite monochrome. I bet I can squeeze them into my Silver Horde, unless they develop some unexpected color.

When you've been here for a long time you start noticing certain trends.
- Dogs/Dragons/Lions are by far the easiest species to trade off.
- Only certain people like ponies/horses
- Rats are undervalued
etc.

It is entirely up to the individual CS user how they want to set out their trading rules. You'll notice in mine I have;

"I am more likely to trade if you offer dogs"

This is personal preference but it is also smart trading. I have other species of pets in my trading groups that just sit there gathering dust. If I offer a dog in a trade it will be accepted 9/10 times where as other species it's pretty much 50/50. It is what it is. No one has the right to complain about someone's trading rules - there are plenty of CS users to trade with. Also, if you don't read someone's rules...what do you expect?

Hahaha, when I was younger, I was in a pen with a 30 something year old horse. It was walking towards me and I screamed bloody murder "IT'S CHARGING!" and ran so fast out of the pen! I was a precious child xD
