In the small town of Ғιяɛℓɛαғ, everyone knows everyone else. There are no rumors because no lies can be told about someone known so well; which is everyone. Each person knows the other's history, their upbringing, their family tree.
But this small town of ιмρɛяғɛcт ρɛяғɛcтισиƨ and ʋиcσи∂ιтισиαℓ αccɛρтαиcɛ is not what it appears to be.
The яɛαℓιтʏ of Fireleaf is ʋиƨρɛακαвℓɛ нσяяσя. Beneath the pleasant facades of the townspeople is a murderous truth; and it has fallen upon a select few to uncover it, reveal it to the world. These select few are called ҒιяɛMαƨκƨ, and you are one of them. It is your job, your ƨσℓɛ ∂ʋтʏ, to find out what Fireleaf's ∂ɛα∂ℓʏ ƨɛcяɛт is, and the role of each model citizen within. But тιмɛ is against you, as are the мʏƨтɛяισʋƨ ғσяcɛƨ that compell the facades of the people, of the town as a whole. Will the secret ∂ɛƨтяσʏ all you've ever known? Will it κιℓℓ everything in its path? Or will you, the Firemasks, find a way to end the secret's reign? It's up to you, and how much ∂ɛƨιяɛ you have to

Damon isn't an outgoing individual, not in the least. Despite his strong build, toned muscles, tall frame, and crew cut hair, he's not very sociable. He's very quiet, and would rather work out by himself than try to compete with a bunch of other flirting guys. Even though he could beat them all in about five seconds at a match of arm wrestling or a football skirmish.
He's the strong and silent type, to the letter. He's always quiet and always calculating with those oceanic eyes, a paleish blue-green that catches many second-glances from girls that he's too shy to approach. He's extremely intelligent, and normally places close to the top in his classes, never with anything less than an A on his report card. He's self-sufficient, with a good-paying job and plenty left over after he's paid his tuition and other everyday expenses. He manages money well, always leaving him some to...say, take a girl on a nice dinner date. But the problem is his shyness.
Damon has been hit on many times in his lifetime, by girls of numerous ages. Even a few, 'cougars', if you will. He, however, has never responded back. He's waiting, gathering up his courage for the right girl, the one who comes along and doesn't look at his muscles or anything else first, but listens to his voice, what his personality is like. When that girl comes, he won't hesitate to pursue her. And, being slightly old-fashioned, he'll be doing things the right way. Courting, going slow, drawing everything out and waiting until they were both ready before moving on to the next step. He won't rush things, or get freaked out and ditch when things get serious. He'll stick by her no matter what happens to her, and won't ever leave her side unless she demands him away.

Damon's 'gift' is superhuman strength. He can easily lift something as large as a minivan without any effort, and something like a fully-stocked woodshed with only a slight huffing of breath.

Chayse is one of those; quiet, mysterious sort of young adults, with a witty, sarcastic sense of humor. She tends to take things fairly seriously; only joking when necessary like lightening the mood. Her outside shell may be a bit; dry, but inside, she's one of the most down to earth normal person you'll ever know. She's been slightly; shy and quiet from the start, hiding her face which is one of the reasons she always used to keep her long, chocolate brown tresses of hair down so they hung around her face. She always had the attitude that talking takes courage, and courage takes might and might takes a good person; which she never felt she was. Alot of people described her as dark and emo; which always seemed to have an affect on her that she would hide so people didn't notice she didn't like being called dark.
She met a boy; Jake, when she was 7 years old and they just clicked instantly, best friends from the start and nothing more. They used to laugh, and kid around at school but whenever Jake asked if she wanted to come over or go with his family fishing, Chayse always made up an excuse. She was still shy, without courage so eachtime school ended and Jake asked, "Do you want to hang out?" Chayse just thought of an excuse such as "I have to help my parents.", "My Mum's sick.", "My dog ran away." or something similar to those lines.
One day, Jake asked for the umteenth time if she would come over and Chayse just felt guilty and unable to lie to him again. She gazed at the green eyed boy and nodded. From then on, her courage seemed to build slightly and no matter how many new friends she made, Jake was always the one to hang out with.
When she was 15, Jake moved away and when she saw him for the last time, he told her one thing. "I Feel Within Me A Peace Above All Earthly Dignities, A Still And Quiet Conscience. Thanks to you." Chayse never quite understood what he meant, but lived by that single quotes everyday.
She's been looking for that one guy; like Jake; that she can love. Someone she can take a relationship further than just friends with. She's been sked out by a couple of football players and guys who are in a band. But they all acted; not like themselves. She wanted that sort of person that would talk about her to his friends, that would be himself, that would say he loved her in public. Someone who just really cared that she could put all of her trust into.
