Shudderleaf Yawned and began licking Dripkit's fur. "Where is Uncle Sandclaw now?" Dripkit asked, getting closer to her mother. "Sandclaw is peaceful now. He is in Starclan and is happy now." Her mother replied, smoothing Dripkit's fur.

[Thora.The.Explora]

One of BirchFire's kits, WinterSparrow, came hopping out of the nursery, saw SandClaw on the ground and lots of clan members crying. When she saw that, she came bounding over to Shudderleaf and nuzzled against her belly fur, and whispered a little "I'm so very sorry", and ran up to her mother.
"I told you to go to sleep WinterSparrow.." Said BirchFire slightly angry.
"I know I know, I just wanted to see what all the commotion was....." replied WinterSparrow, a little guiltily.
*Sighs* Fine, you may say a quick goodbye to SandClaw, I know you really looked up to him." Said BirchFire.
WinterSparrow slowly walked up to SandClaw, she had never said goobye to a clan member before, this was all very new and she didn't know what to do. She looked back to her mother and BirchFire gave her a little smile.
That gave WinterSparrow a little more courage.

Shudderleaf glances at Wintersparrow and smiles as she is trying to squeeze her way through the crowd of cats. "Kits...."
then she buried her face in Sandclaw's fur.

The thought struck Shudderleaf like lightning. She leaped up, startling the other cats. "I never found out how he died! How did he die?"

Articpast hangs his head and sighs, "Ah yes, that story. we were fighting the SummerMoonClan warriors, we found MANY on our hunting ground. We had to engage to ward them off, Sandclaw and I had to take on WishStone, the Clans deputy. He made me extreamly angry after a while of fighting, he used the Killing Bite. That's what killed Sandclaw."
*The other cats gasped in horror, the Killing Bite is an extreamly unhonorable move.*
Articpast raised his head, "But I have avenged him, WishStone is dead."
He looked around, scanning the faces of the other cats. They were astonished. They didn't even think it was possible to kill WishStone, he was much bigger than all the cats in WinterSunClan.

"I told you," He continued, "He made me angry."

BirchFire and EchoChance began to smile very broadly.
"Oh congradulations Articpast! What a great achievement! Sandclaw would be VERY proud of you!" Said EchoChance gayly.
The other cats joined in and rejoiced with her, a great threat was now gone, but little did they know, another was soon to come....

Articpast had never been showered with so much praise before, he looked over at BirchFire, she was smiling back at him, and a little twinkle grew in her Amber eyes.

Nightcling, one of the Clans oldest living warriors, now an elder walked up to Sandclaw and buried his face in the blood-crusted fur of his good friend. "He was a good cat, one of the only cats I could have a conversation with and not feel, well, out of my time you could say." He said smiling a little, despite his name and his bark brown spotted coat, he was very gentle and soothing, not like all the other cranky elders. "I wish he just, didn't have to die. He deserves more than nine lives from StarClan, he deserves at least eleven. but, sadly, that's not how it works..." He said drifting off, trying to hold back the tears that welled in his blue eyes. "Good Bye Sandclaw, this place will never be the same without you." He drooped his head and let the tears flow, he made no sound but he soaked some of Sandclaws dusty colored fur.
"Good Bye old friend." He said one last time before he stood up, and gave a little bow toward Sandclaw. Everyone else around him, did the same.
