[Toxic Nightshade]

"Anything you can catch," she said happily,"and while you're doing that ill go get some herbs. We're running low." She walked into the bushes, following the scent of herbs.

[Royallioness]

"All right. I'll meet you in the den," said Shadowfur, scenting a squirrel and wandering off in its general direction.

She travelled a long ways but didn't realise it until it was dusk. "Uh oh," she said to herself,"I'll just get this juniper and head back to the den." But now that she thought about it, she didn't remember her way back. Eh, she would just follow her scent trail. She heard a low growl behind her that sounded like Shadowfur,"Oh hey-Uhhhhh" she said as she turned around. Three HUGE toms loomed over her. "Uh, hi?" She said. They had surrounded her.
"We're taking you to our leader," the tabby said. He grabbed her by the scruff like she was a tiny kit.
"Shadowfur! Help! Hel-mmppfffff!!!!" She was muffled by one of the toms shovingher face into the dirty mud.
"Keep quiet!" He scorned. She kept quiet. She hoped Shadowfur would come, he was going to show her defence moves tomorrow, but she wished he had shown them to her yesterday. Tears in her eyes, she pleaded to Starclan that Shadowfur would come, as she was carried away by the huge cats.

[Royallioness]

Shadowfur had caught nothing because of a worrying thought in his mind. ' I'd better go check on Mothflight. Something doesn't feel right.'

He panicked as soon as he scented her scent mixed in with that of three toms, he blindly bolted in that direction, not worried about stealth, but about saving his soon to be mate. He heard the padding of paws in the distance,and chased them. He saw Mothflight bound by vines, and being carried by the toms. " STOP!!! Drop the cat or I will attack. I'm stronger than I look, and have Starclan on my side. Touch her again, and you wil be touched by my claws," said Shadowfur, anger, fury, and fright raging through his veins all at the same time. ' Please Starclan, let these toms show mercy, and not harm my lover, or myself.'

No! thought Mothflight, Tese toms are much bigger and stronger than him! What if he gets hurt?
The huge tabby tom laughed rudely,"Starclan?" He said scornfully,"Now That's a tail for kits! Puny cat," he said, walking over to Shadowfur.
Mothflight shuddered at the thought of these acts hurting her mate. I have to do something! she thought. Then it hit her.
The tom was sizing Shadowfur up now, looming over him like a dark, ominous cloud. Mothflight sat down so her back legs were near her front legs, and ever so unnoticeably clawed at the vine on her front legs.
"Why don't I just tear you apart in front of your precious friend? Huh?" Said the huge tabby.
Mothflight had just finished the vine on her front legs so she grabbed the vines quickly so they didn't whip back and give away that she was free. She then started on the back legs.
"HUH??!!!!" Said the huge tabby, now getting in the fighting mode,"Why don't I? It would you prefer our little friend first?!"

[Royallioness]

" We'll, I didn't want to have to do this, but I will," said Shadowfur. Instead of attacking the cats, he laid down. " You are OBVIOUSLY much more superior to me, and I surrender." He waited for the largest tom to walk over to him before jumping on his face and clawing his eyes. He shouted to Mothflight, " Leave! Run! Save yourself, don't worry about me."

She quickly finished getting the vines off her back legs and then jumped on the red Tom next to her.
"What the?" He said, surprised that she jumped on him. She clawed at his back making him bleed lots.

[Royallioness]

The last tom pinned Shadowfur, but thinking fast, Dhadowfur coaxed his underbelly with his hind paws. After the tom released him, he grabbed Mothflights tail and pulled her of the tom. No cat followed them. After they were back at the den Shadow fur asked Mothflight, " Are you OK? That was some fierce fighting. I'm sorry I left you alone without teaching you to defend yourself."

"I'm okay," she said,"just scared. What if they come here?" She whimpered scaredly.

[Royallioness]

" If they do, they'll see what I'm really made of. Let's go into the den now. Were you near by when they got you? Do you think they saw the den?"
