Shadepelt:
(I forgot what I was doing too............... I could go find my last post but *sigh* that sounds like WORK)
Rolling over, I splay out on the warm, flat rock with my belly to the skies. Sunning rocks were aptly named. The water of the river and shade of the trees keep them cool in Greenleaf, but the flat, bright surface of the stones and lower water level let them heat up in the onset of Leafbear - just like now. I relish the heat leaking into my pelt from the unforgiving surface; its like a fire on my pelt, from above and below. But a good fire.
As I roll over again, and shade my eyes with one paw, I see movement in the ferns downstream. Ginger and white movement. I perk my ears, but keep low against the rock. Yep, that's Foxfur. What's she doin-
Crossing the Riverclan border.
I leap up and stalk into the shade at the edge of the forests. What's she doing!? I better follow...
