High School for the Unusual 3

[Nawratus]

Penelope walked out of the hospital and got in her car. She drove to Cooper's house with a concerned look, but felt better about the explained situation. When the thin woman parked in Cooper's driveway, she got out and walked into his house. "I'm home!" she called out and walked over to the couch. Of course, she made herself at home on the couch. Iris snuggled up into the blankets and tried to go to sleep. Though, an awakening nightmare didn't really help her.

Cooper relaxed when he heard Penelope's voice. He replaced Iris' bandages again and then wrapped his arms around her. He got a crazy idea. He unwrapped her wounds shifted into a wolf and began licking them. He watched as the first one started healing rapidly. He finished all of them and shifted to human again. Cooper watched in amazement as Iris healed. He smiled when all that was left were tiny white scars that were fading still. He kissed her and held her close. Maybe they would be alright after all.

[Nawratus]

Iris mumbled a few things in her sleep, obviously confused on what was going on in the reality world. "Uncle..... Mom...... Cooper...." she rolled around wildly, scared and confused. She was flinging her arms everywhere, it looked like she was trying to defend herself.

Cooper grabbed her arms and tried to get her to calm down. "Iris? Iris? What's wrong?" He hadn't realized she was asleep still.

[Nawratus]

"COOPER!" Iris sat up quickly and squealed a little. She hadn't realized that the dream she just had was a nightmare, and wasn't real. A sigh left her as she noticed that everything was alright. Her hazel eyes drifted from the blankets to Cooper. "Cooper you're alright!" and with that, the young girl hugged her boyfriend protectively and snuggled into him. "You're alright..." she repeated with relief.

"COOPER!" Iris sat up quickly and squealed a little. She hadn't realized that the dream she just had was a nightmare, and wasn't real. A sigh left her as she noticed that everything was alright. Her hazel eyes drifted from the blankets to Cooper. "Cooper you're alright!" and with that, the young girl hugged her boyfriend protectively and snuggled into him. "You're alright..." she repeated with relief.

Cooper wrapped his arms around her. "Of course I'm alright! Why wouldn't I be?" He asked confused. He kissed her cheek and pulled her into his lap.

[Nawratus]

"Well, I had this dream where my Uncle killed you....... I thought it was real..... but I'm so glad it was just a dream..." Iris laid her head on his chest and sighed softly. "I couldn't bare to see you die Cooper...." a small tear ran down her cheek as she looked up at him. "The dream just felt so real..." she pecked his lips before laying her head back down on his chest.

Cooper wiped the tear away and stroked her hair. "Iris...I would never leave you like that." He turned her chin up and pressed his lips to hers. He smiled and stroked her cheek with his thumb as he kissed her. "You are the most important thing to me." He sighed. "If you die, I have no reason to live. If I die, I crush my whole world because my whole world is you."

[Nawratus]

"Aw, Cooper.... you're the best. Thank you so much for being mine and saving me today..." Iris kissed his nose and smiled a little. She covered them with a blanket and snuggled up into him. "Hey, what happened to my wounds?" she asked with amazement as she looked down at her arms. "All there is left are scars....." Iris looked up at the boy with curiosity.

Cooper smiled. "No problem Princess." He looked at her uneasily. "Well I uh...I healed them..."
