"I kind of wanted to sleep in my own bed...I didn't have anything I needed to do." Winter went pink. He rolled onto his back. "What would I do without you..?"

[Jazzyleia]

"You'd die of a bacterial infection or something else without me pulling you to the hospital every time you got a knife in your leg." Jasmine smiled and leaned back in the chair.

[stormy tom]

"Well I'm sorry my life isn't worthy to preserve yours," he stuck out his to the playfully. "It's late...so we should both probably be resting. Good night." He closed his eyes and drifted off.

Jasmine watched Winter fall asleep. She had slept too much and was wide awake now. She sat and looked around. At least he would be getting better now. His leg would be okay and at least she remembered everything that happened.

Winter drifted off soundlessly. Mooneyes came in the night and draped himself over his motionless body. The night moved on. Clouds drifted over the moon, hiding it from view.

Jasmine watched the moon disappear. It made her scared for some reason. Why would the moon make her feel anything. She shrugged and watched Mooneyes and Winter sleeping. At least everyone was happy now.

Morning came and Winter awoke. Mooneyes kept him warm. He yawned and sat up, rubbing his face. "Get off," he pushed the cat. "Breakfast time. Come on."

"Finally you are up. I thought you would be sleeping all day." Jasmine stood up and stretched. She had sat awake all night watching and waiting. She smiled now that he looked a little better than last night.

Winter nodded and stood up. He felt a bit better. "Wanna go get food?" He asked. "I'm hungry." He paused. "Do I get a kiss now?"

Jasmine smiled. "You just said you wanted food because you are hungry. You can't have two things at once you know." She looked at him with playfulness in her eyes. She loved playing games with him when he wasn't a hundred percent.
