Raven's breathing was shallow and quiet, hardly even heard. She levitated off the ground only the slightest bit as her magic tried to heal her in vain.

[Crabbiey]

(No, she will come back to life, like waking up from a deep sleep.)

[Iilyda]

{Okie dokes. Continue on, I get it now!}

Raven let out one last shuddering breath, her eyes growing dim and her arms growing stiff, lifeless on the floor of the room.

(Yay! 'The Fire Thief Triology' is excellent and really funny, just the ending is kinda depressing...)

The Avenger frowned, this girl had given off a blue spark, but it was darker in terms of colour and brighter in terms of brightness. He'd never seen a spark like this before.

{Lol, don't tell me it, I might want to read it someday. I have such a long reading list. O_O
... so what now? Does Raven wake up?}

Raven remained still utterly lifeless, her body falling to the ground softly as her magic winked out, the levitation ending.

(No, not yet. Her body has to heal. I have to finish 'Boudica'!)

The Avenger stared at the girl, wondering just what she was.

{How long does it take to heal? Lol, what's Boudica?}

Raven's hood fell back from her face, revealing her pale, gray-ish skin, and the red tilaka in the center of her forehead. The air seemed to be entirely still around her body, stiff and unmoving.

(Umm, as long as you think it would. Her liver has got to grow back! 'Boudica' is a series of four books by Manda Scott. It is historical fiction, following Boudica's life, but she's called Breaca in the series, Boudica is her title. I'm on the first book 'Boudica; Dreaming the Eagle'. It is very good, and an adult novel.)

The Avenger shook head before transforming back and walking off to find Prometheus.

Lyra stared after him and back at the girl. Pan looked at her. They had seen so many Samoyad warriors die but this felt different.

{Hmm, that sounds interesting. I have noooo idea how long it would take a liver to grow back. I guess I'll just leave her there for now and having her magic heal her. How long did it take Prometheus?}

A spark of dark energy rolled along Raven's cheek, running along her body like an electric pulse. Another spark ignited, and then another, until finally her magic was strong enough to support her once again, levitating her off of the ground as she healed herself, still unconscious.
