Looks up at Shadepelt and waits for Willow and Lilly to reply

"I'm Willow!" She chirps

"I'm Lilly." Lilly sounds like and echo of Willow

Shadepelt:

I purr to the kits in turn, "Very nice to meet you both." I glance at Shinepaw then back at Willow and Lilly, "Don't you quiet," I stage whisper, confidentially, "Shinepaw will look out for you. And I'll help too, are you hungry?"

Shinepaw:
Purrs at Willow and Lilly's reply

Willow:
"Yes! Im soooo hungery. And who's Shinepaw?"

Lilly:
"Ooh my belllg is grumbling."

Darkclaw pads over to her moss spot and curls up and falls asleep fast and warm

Shadepelt:

I'd forgotten that these rogue kits wouldn't know Shinepaw by her clan name. "Oh, pardon me, Shinepaw is Feather's new name." I say warmly, and patiently, waving my tail towards the young apprentice, "When she was named apprentice she was given this name. And when she's named warrior, she'll lose the paw for her warrior name." I add, then stand and cross to the freshkill pile, picking a large finch and returning. I drop it before the kits, "You two can share that; it should be more than enough to feed growing kits!" I invite kindly, glancing at the entrance to camp, expecting to see Foxfur returning with Thunderstar at any moment.

Shinepaw:
She nodded

Willow:
Walks over to the food and eats hungrily

Lilly:
Joins her sis

Darkheart stumbles lost ith words. He wants Windsong..? He looked at Thunderstar when she said his name. He dipped his head in repesct and meows a hello back still lost on words from her question

Foxfur:
I stare at Darkheart and Windsong, "Hello? Any cat home?" I growl, lashing my tail in agitation, "I asked what happened here?" I can't keep the rising hysteria in my voice; I don't sound panicked, only furious. My fur is fluffed up along my haunches and spine, my tail is twice it's usual size. Theres an electricity in the air I'm unaccustomed to. "Spit it out, already!"

Darkheart sighed and growls. "All we were doing was hutning. Windsong almost got hit by a monster and Thunderstar saved her. Thunderstar lost a life!' he snapped and growls. He was now in a bad mood.

[FireCalls]

Foxfur:
I let out a long sigh, "Very well." I spit, still cross, "There's no need to be short, Darkheart." I add, giving him a look that reminds him to be respectful to his deputy, and in his leaders presence. "If she's recovered from the loss of a life, we should get her back to camp so a medicine cat may see to her." I meow, slowly letting the anger drain from my claws. "Hawktail is absolutely frantic." There's amusement behind my words, but of the dark variety. I look Darkheart over, seeking some sort of sign as to whether his affection for Thunderstar might be something other than platonic loyalty.

Hawktail:
The kits finally fall asleep in the crook of my long body. They snore fitfully, paws churning against me and the sandy floor in constant agitation. Mews of distress, calls for mother, pitiful whines escape in muffled spurts from their short muzzles. I look around, desperately, wishing Thunderstar would return and feed our young kits.
