Do you prefer having your characters date/mate your own characters or someone else's?

Oooooookay I love this question.

So, I LOVE for my characters to have dates and mates. I have very few aromantic or asexual characters. I don't actually think I have any asexual ones. Writing about romance is really fun for me.

I prefer for my characters to have mates or dates belonging to other people. But so far I've never had it work out with anyone but my best friend's characters, although my jellybean dragon has an interesting possible date. I want to RP romance. I dont want to just say "hey our characters are mates" because most of the fun for me is in building up the relationship. And so far I've never had a potential love interest that I felt the owner would RP enough or be interested enough aside from what I mentioned before. I just cherish my babies and get very attached in their relationships.

So the result is most of my characters are with my own characters. I just like being able to control and develop everything at the right pace.

On this subject, I currently have several gay canine males and straight canine females and males, as well as a straight feline female, a bi clouded leopard male, a straight female deerssert, two male deersserts, and a dinosaur-dog male that's bisexual that are looking for mates. If you want to RP a romance between any of them, you should PM me ^^ species don't matter and I have refs of them all. I love doing couples art. Basically if you want your character to date another person's character in RPs and art, message me and we can see if I have someone compatible.
