Brightclan
This is a continue of my RP, Brightclan. The former thread had been cluttered with over 850 pages, so we have agreed to continue on a new thread.
Also, as the title now says, we're officially re-opened to new RPers! <3

Territory Of Brightclan
We live in a territory much like Thunderclans. Although there is a part of the territory that is well suited for catching rabbits, and we also have a few streams through the territory. The border seperating Brightclan and Darkclan is a slow running river.


Rules
All Tess rules apply!
1. Semi-Lit here, so at least three/four lines per post, with good grammar, punctuation, etc.
2. Please do not RP for anybody else.
3. PG-13 on the fighting, mating, kitting, etc. please.
4. I have every right to ban you if I feel it is nessesary. I am fair, but that doesn't mean I'm a pushover.
5. Please do not refer to your character as "I". If your characters name is Mintleaf then please refer to her that way. Example: "Mintleaf trotted over to the fresh kill pile".
6. Please do not RP until I accept you.
7. Your cats can NOT and I repeat NOT go suicidle! I have seen that in so many RP's, and to me, it's just stupid. Sorry if that may seem harsh, but sadly its true.
8. NO guilt tripping, please! Again, I've seen it happen -.-'
9. Please dont kill off your chararacter just because nobody is in love with them!
10. If your cat is exiled(Which probably wont happen unless its part of a plot) or leaves the clans, they are officially no longer part of the RP, unless its part of the plot of course.
11. Write, "The Darkness will die" in the 'others' section on your form if you read the rules.

Mini-Mods

Code, Herbs, Ceremonies
Here, we have the official ceremonies for warriors, apprentices, medicine cats, deputies, and medicine cat apprentices. We also have the warrior code, and the list of medicine cat herbs.

The Warrior Code
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is law.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet

Poppy seeds- used to numb pain and make a cat very sleepy
Cobwebs - used to stop bleeding
Feverfew - used to cool feverish cats and treat head pain
Borage leaves - used to treat fevers and helps nursing mothers with their milk supply
Marigold - used to treat infection and heal wounds and sores
Horsetail -used to treat infected wounds
Burdock root - used to treat infections, especially rat bites
Chervil (root) - used to treat infections
Wild garlic - rolling in this can help to keep out infection
Coltsfoot - used to treat kittencough
Catnip (also called catmint) - used to treat whitecough and greencough; can help to relax a cat
Chickweed - used to help treat greencough
Tansy - used to treat coughs
Thyme - used to calm a cat
Chamomile - used to calm a cat
Dandelion (leaves) - used to calm a cat
Juniper berries - used to treat bellyache
Chervil - used to treat bellyache
Watermint - used to treat bellyache
Daisy leaves - used to treat aching joints
Goldenrod - used in a poultice to treat aching joints and stiffness; can also be used for severe injuries.
Ragwort leaves - used alongside juniper berries in a poultice to
treat aching joints
Comfrey - used to treat broken bones
Nettle (leaves) - used to treat swelling
Celandine - used to treat ailments of the eyes
Snakeroot - used to counter poison
Nettle (seeds) - used to counter poison
Honey - used to treat sore throats
Mouse bile - used to remove ticks from a cat's coat
Yarrow - used to make a cat vomit and expel poisons from the body

Apprentice Ceremony
Leader: "By naming apprentices, we show that **Clan name** will survive and remain strong."
Leader: " From this moment on, until he/she has earned his/her Warrior Name, this Apprentice will be known as **kit name+paw**."
Leader: " **Mentor's name**, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to **Apprentice's name**. ** Mentor's name**, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of ** Virtue #1 ** and ** Virtue #2 **. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice."

Warriors Ceremony
Leader: **Mentors name**, are you satisfied that this apprentice is ready to become a warrior?"
Mentor: "Yes, she/he is ready"
Leader: "I (**Leader name**, leader of **clan name**) call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in his/her turn."
Leader: " **Apprentice name**, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Apprentice: " I do "
Leader: " Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. **Apprentice name**, from now on, you will be known as ** Warrior name**. ** Clan name** welcomes you as a full warrior."

Medicine Cat Apprentice Ceremony
Medicine Cat: **Apprentice name**, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?
Medicine Cat Apprentice: It is.
