Lionstar smirked, "I'm sure you two were. Everyone can see how much tension there is between the two of you." He meowed in low voice to Sunstar.

Volantpaw was glad for the comforting lick, she could still feel his cold eyes burrowing into her gray fur though it seemed that his eyes had soon looked away from her. She looked over at Blackpaw... he had siblings too, right? She wish that her siblings could get along with her, she wished she could get along with them... "I won't get to see you till next moon..." she whispered to Blackpaw, she liked him, he was a trustable friend.

Malicestar glared at Sunstar, there would be an attack that night, he already knew it. SunClan couldn't just keep pushing them like they were. They needed it. He growled under his breath, looking at Blackstar who needed to report.

"Ok." Blackstar dipped his head, ecstatic that they were going to let him talk, but he remained calm in the outside. He jumped up on the high rock and mewed loudly "blackclan has been good. We just recently discovered the rest of your clans. We once were four clans, most of us were wiped out by a disease. We joined our clans together, and left our old Forrest to move to another one. However now that all four of our clans are one we are stronger than ever." Blackstar bluffed, truly his clan wasn't stronger than the old thunderclan was.

"If we both go that is..." Blackpaw added in a disappointed mew. "At least our clans are next to each other, maybe we might see each other on a patrol." He whispered thoughtfully. It was saddening to have a friend that you only get to meet once a moon if you're lucky. If only there was another way maybe...

Sunstar glared in Malicestar's face and spoke to Lionstar in a low voice. "Well there is tension for a reason." he said awaiting for Blackstar to report and nodded as he finished.

Thunderpaw snorted. "Stop mooning over him." he said just loud enough for her and Blackpaw to hear and not the others.

Volantpaw nodded, "Maybe we could meet by the border tonight..." she mumbled softly to Blackpaw, and heard what Thunderpaw said, she sighed softly in response to this. Thunderpaw was just angry at her, he always got mad whenever she talked to toms, it was like he was overprotective yet he hated her thoroughly.

I guess there goes my friendship with Thunderpaw. Blackpaw thought gloomily. He glanced at Volantpaw, it must be hard for her to be picked on by her own brother. "Sure." he whispered, tonight is the best time to meet each other since everyone would be at camp exhausted from the gathering.

Sunstar knew that Oceanclan were not going to turn up to the gathering so he leaped off the branch and gave Malicestar a last glare and Deerstar. "Sunclan we are leaving." he said as the gathering was coming to the end, he said a farewell to Shadowstar, Blackstar and Lionstar.

Thunderpaw snorted, he knew that Volantpaw was mooning over this tom. "Whatever then go get yourself into loving another clan's cat and then in trouble with Sunstar! bye Blackpaw." he said angrily but said the last part calmly as he was still friends with him.

Volantpaw looked a little upset but didn't say anything about it, instead she nodded her head to him. "Alright, when everyone goes to sleep I'll go to the border and wait for you, alright?" She mewed to the tom cat, nodding her head to him. She was attempting to ignore Thunderpaw though he was getting to her. She looked up when her Leader spoke. "I guess I have to go now... bye." She mewed, getting to her paws and following behind Sunstar.

Malicestar scoffed, he leaped down. He was the youngest Leader there, they probably didn't respect him as much for his age, though his clan was doing fine. He looked to Losttail, gesturing for the tom to follow as he led the male out of the Gathering and back to their clan.

We're just friends right? We're not going to fall in love with each other... Blackpaw told himself. He hoped he was right and wouldn't go into that. He nodded to her, "Bye, Volantpaw." he mewed and watched the she-cat leave.

Lionstar leaped off the branch and signaled his clan to leave. At least this time there was no fighting at the gathering.
