"Whoa little guy!" Abe laughed as the pup sprang to its feet and snarled. "I won't hurt you! In fact, I want to help you!" He poked the pup playfully with his nose, still chuckling about the snarl it had given him.

Shela could smell the sent of more wolves. She padded a bit closer snarling but could smell wounds and injurys she stopped and took a step back concerned now

Smoke laughed "I like this pup it knows you must seem strong to protect yourself barked dipping his head respectfully "who are you he yipped"curiously.

Howler looked to sayna confused "what do you mean"he asked putting his head on one side.

"Well you just seem really nervous about something when we went near that oak, like you remember something…" Sayna mulled, there was a cloudy mysterious glint in her green eyes.

"Do you trust me" howler asked a seriously.

Sayna look surprised at the question, "Of course, you have earned my trust. And I would trust you with my life" she answered readily. She knew this was true, wolves had to earn her trust. She trusted most wolves, but not all with her life.

"Good" howler nodded respectfully "I have many secrets and I'm sorry but most of them I'm not ready to tell,but I will in time so wait" howler went back to stalking the deer.

"Okay, hopefully patience is a virtue I have" Sayna whispered before padded into the shadows, stalkibg the deer. It was strange how her fur blended in, all except her green eyes and the whote markings, but she looked like a creature spun out of shadows, with patches of snow. She spotted the tawny fur of the deer and crept forward.

Howler
Howler rubbed mud onto the white patches of his fur then crept into the clearing he looked to sayna nodding that she should drive the deer towards him.

Sayna nodded slowly and got closer and closer toward the deer, her pawsteps made no sound on the ground as she neared. The deer pricked its ears as if sensing and was about to turn its head around to check for danger when Sayna blasted out of the shadows at full speed. The deer instinctively shot straight toward the waiting wolf, Howler.
