I actually never knew you could link images to pages like that, so it was a very happy discovery!
The drop down menu is honestly one of the things that bothers me the most, I just struggle to break down my 'main characters' group since I use so many of them OTL

But anyways!
I've gone ahead and started to do the image on the front page thing, and I quite like it!
Still messing around with image sizes/formatting/etc. but I think it's much better!

When you buy a new character, what is the first thing you do?

What kind of character backgrounds/history do you like to see? Do tragic backstories attract or annoy you?

I really like seeing realistic yet creative backgrounds, where the character's personality is correctly infuenced (For example: With backstories that are so tragic and the character had no positive role-models, and yet turns out to be a great an happy person? Meh.) Tragic backstories to not annoy me, unless there is no development.

On a scale of 1-10 how many of your characters have a sad or tragic backstory?

Um, 3? Most of my characters have realistic or happy backstories, maybe something bad happened but you know.

For those who have characters with sad history's, how many involve family member/loved ones deaths?

When you buy a new character, what is the first thing you do?

Save images, get art credits. Then I set him up a page on my site and give him basic info. Name, personality, etc. Then I order/make at least one piece of art if they don't previously have any.

Tragic backstories can annoy me. It depends on how detailed and thought out the tragedy is, and how it relates to how the character is, and so on. As for what I like to see, well... I'm not specific in this sort of thing. I just like original types of stories, with features that relate to the characters and show how they transformed into who they are as they grew c:

Oh gosh... errrr. Probably 3? Some do, but it generally will tie in, and not be all tragic. It will get better.

As I said, I don't have that many. But of them, it's a high percentage of them with this. Sometimes it isn't the death of that individual that effects them though, so it all depends.

tragic histories are good, if they are done well and fit in with the characters' personality ovo [like, if you saw your whole family die you likely would be affected in rather extreme ways, no?]

So in the process of finding a pokemon rp site to join, im drawing a new character ;u;
I have the basic idea for her, i just need to sketch her out.

I can only draw humans somewhat well on paper @-@

I am not keeping that name, nor am I very likely to keep that personality. This is just the free ref that came with her, and I didn't get to choose the name or personality traits. I like the 'can see color', though, might keep that.


I'm probably keeping her name and that on personality trait. Unsure on the age though, considering making her a little older (of course, her age is in dog years, in people years she is currently only two).
