I completely ignored Griffons comment as I sat down and put my headphones on. My favourite band Shinedown was playing, yeah I was into heavy metal. Even though Carson and I weren't talking, just sitting next to him was good enough. Finally we came to the hotel for the night. I wished I could be in a room with Carson but I knew that would never happen. Ah well, I was fine with being with Em, Sky and Ari. I jumped out of the car and ran up the saris to the Girls room. We were next to the boys so room 106. I jumped onto the bed closet to the window and balcony. I sat up pulled off my shoes and socks then lay back down again. I couldn't sleep so I walked out onto the balcony with my iPad.

❥ Emily gave Griffon a quick sweet smile after she gave everyone their room cards. She then exited the van and walked into the hotel, Honey hidden in her bag. Emily tried not to look suspicious as she walked to her room in the hotel. She slid the key in the lock and opened her door, taking the key card with her. Emily closed the door behind her and let Honey out of the bag. Honey purred and began exploring her new surroundings. Thank god she's done with her scratching phase. Emily thought. During Honey's scratching phase multiple pieces of furniture were scratched up, three rugs town up, and a few of her younger brothers' shirts ripped up, though that wasn't part of the phase, just Honey's way of getting revenge on them.

Emily was now in her pj's, which she had packed in the bottom of her bag along with a t-shirt, sweater, and jeans for the next day. Emily was laying on her bed, ipad in hands listening to pandora's He Is We station. Emily had brought her phone, ipod, and ipad. Honey jumped up onto the bed and curled up on Emily's stomach, Emily smiled and closed her eyes as she relaxed, not too tired.

An hour of sleep later, Carson was awakened by a noisy family checking into their rooms, the kids chattering loudly as kids do. He grunted and rolled over in an attempt to fall back asleep. Giving up after a few.minutes, he got up from the bed and went to the counter, where a few styrefoam cups were sitting, courtesy of the hotel. He pulled them apart and took the rapping off of one of them, filling it up with the water from the sink. The water had a different taste to it than Carson was used to, and he took only a few sips before pouring the rest down the sink drain. With the water dispatched of, he dropped the cup in the waste basket and proceeded to wander.about the room. He considered going down to the pool for a few laps, but decided to stay and use his phone to check his e-mails and facebook. He pulled his phone out of his backpack and turned it on. It beeped, indicating a low battery. He sighed and took out the wall charger, plugging it in. His phone showed fifteen notifications from facebook and two new e-mails. He checked facebook first; there were just some poeple who had liked or replied to his status he had posted earlier about leaving for the road trip with his friends. Carson liked the comments and then went to his e-mails. One was a promotional offer, which he deleted, and the other was from friends of his family who sent out a monthly newsletter. He skimmed the e-mail, not finding it very interesting but feeling obligated to read it anyways.

After a few wasted minutes playing flappy bird, Carson shut off the phone and set it on the night stand beside the bed. He sighed, glancing towards the window beside the.door that led to the balcony. He was.surprised to see.the glow of a light coming from the room next to him. Walking to the window to get a better look, he saw Darcy standing on her balcony. Carson quickly threw on a pair a sweats and a plain white shirt and went out the door that lead to the balcony. "Hey, Darcy! Stay right there, I'm coming over," he said, waving at her. Since their balconies were close together, he had no problem climbing onto the railing and.jumping over. He smiled at Darcy and sat down on the railing facing her. "Can't sleep either?" he asked, grinning.

Griffon felt good that Emily took the keys he walked upstairs and took the card to the room he wasn't going to be happy with the way he would be staying up all night. He then walked into the bed and laid down in his t-shirt and some shorts that he had been wearing if he laid his head down on the pillow relaxed and happy that they were close to where every they were at and he fell asleep after laying there for so long.

Skye smiled at Miles, happy to help. She then followed the others out of the van and to the hotel, quickly finding her room and going inside. She placed the key in the slot of the lights, at least she couldn't lose it then. Her room was quite comfy and had quite a nice look to it, and she almost immediately flopped down onto the soft covers of her bed. Home was the only real thing on her mind. Distractions popped in here and there, but ultimately everything lead to the house she had grown up in with her parents. And of course her two birds. After getting up and changing into her pj's, she went through her usual routine of listening to a song while brushing her teeth and taking a quick shower before settling down.

Gavin had already reached his room in the hotel, taking larger than normal steps to stretch out his long legs after the car ride. He placed the key in the door and turned the knob, smiling once he opened the door to see that his room was clean and unoccupied. He threw his small backpack down on the floor and then went over and flopped on the bed, face down into the pillow. He was tired and ready to go to bed, but at the same time he was excited at all the possibilities of their adventure. After sitting for a few minutes he got up and went into the bathroom and brushed his teeth and changed into a pair of sweatpants and a tee shirt. He then walked back out to the room and took out his phone, checking his twitter feed.

I smiled as Carson leaped over the railing My knight in shining.. I looked at what he was wearing, sweatpants? I half asked / accused. It was true, I couldn't sleep. I was too scared too, too scared the nightmares would come back. I'd had them ever since what happened with my dad. I was glad Carson was here, but still, I couldn't help but wish he liked me like I liked him. I knew it was hopeless but my middle name was Hope so I guess I kinda had to live with a but of hope wherever I went.

Carson laughed at Darcy' comment about his sweatpants and looked down at them, they were an old pair that he usually wore at night during the winter. "Well, I couldn't have come over here half naked, now, could I? Even though we are best friends," he joked, throwing up his hands in surrender. He ran a hand through his medium length blonde hair, trying to discreetly fix his bed head. "So, excited about the trip so far?" he asked, making conversation. His fingers drummed against the railing as he absent-mindedly looked at their surroundings. He noticed a few people sitting on a bench outside smoking, feeling grateful that the hotel was a non-smoking building. Carson snapped his attention back to Darcy, afraid that he had missed something she had said while he was looking around.
