Kaitlyn is a rather small girl, being labeled as petite, delicate or even fragile at times. Sometimes they even go as far as describing her as child-like. Not having very high self-confidence, she usually doesn't say anything to the people who tease her about her size, but she really doesn't like it. Aside from what she thinks of herself, Kaitlyn is a pretty girl; having long, luscious brown hair that has a slight auburn/red tint to it. It hangs down to almost the small of her back and is naturally wavy. You'll find it common seeing her with her hair straightened, curled or even up in a ponytail due to her dislike for it's natural curl. Her eyes are a unique shade of brown, having flakes of gold surrounding her iris; because her eye colors are so contradicting, they are often described at bright and distracting. Kaitlyn's skin is naturally a light tan, though it does change depending on the season. Across her nose and cheeks, there are a handful of freckles that cover that area. As for her lips, they are a soft shade of pink and are thinner than usual, not having the bigger lips like other girls typically have. Kaitlyn's face structure is smooth, not having the high cheekbones or square jaw that other girls often have. When it comes to what she wears, you'll often find her trying to cover as much of her body as possible; whether that's with jeans or leggings and sweaters or hoodies. Her style is seen more as comfortable than stylish, but she doesn't mind it very much.
You'd be surprised how different Kaitlyn's personality is from her appearance. When you first seen her, the first thought that would usually pop into your mind is how small, quiet and sweet the girl is. How she stays in the background and away from the commotion and drama. What you don't know is that she really isn't staying in the background to stay away from the drama, but because she is watching. You see, Kaitlyn is a naturally suspicious, curious and watchful person, so it comes naturally to her to observe people. When people realize what she's doing, they often ask why, but she never answers. She keeps her thoughts, feelings and secrets to herself. Being so secretive also makes it easy for people to trust her when telling her secrets of their own since they know that she wouldn't speak another word of it to anyone else. When she considers you a friend, she could be seen as a whole different person. She is very loyal to her friends; always having her friends back when they need it. She is also very caring and protective over her friends, though people usually just laugh and wave her off when she sticks up for them or tries to fight back.
