Silverpaw padded in front of Shadowpelt, and dashed to the training hollow. She was full of energy that morning, plus she wanted to show her mentor how well she could do those moves. And she couldn't make them if she was tired. But she was not and that was a good thing.

Shadow purred at her eagerness. He quickly changed his trott into long, quick powerful leaps, matching the apprentices pace.

[Fortune's Fool]

She carried on spreading, then stopped, letting her apprentice finish. She grabbed the remianing moss and started making nests, one for her and two for any injured cats. She also put some ferns and long-grass in the nests.

Amberpaw finished what she was doing quickly and moved so she could watch her mentor work. As Cottenheart got close to finishing, she spoke up once more. "So the herbs next?"

[Queen_Conker]

"Yep. I think most of them are ok. The lavender looks a little off, and so does the burdock roots. Can you get the two for me?" she said. She wanted her apprentice to memorize every single herb - their looks, smell and feel.

[Fortune's Fool]

"Sure!" Amberpaw answered going to move before pausing. "Wait, do you want me to get them from our stock, or go and get fresh herbs?" She asked.

[Queen_Conker]

"Stock. We need to check they are fresh enough" she mewed.

[Fortune's Fool]

"Right." Amberpaw nodded, moving towards the stock. Lavender was easy, because of it's scent, she thought, pulling the herb out. Burdock root, though. She glanced between two different types of root. She narrowed her eyes before grabbing the one she thought was right, then carried the two bundles of herbs to Cottonheart.

"So... show me! The moves you learned at some mysterious place you don't want to mention." Silverpaw looked at him with her big summer-blue eyes. She wondered if he was also keeping secrets from where he came from.

[Queen_Conker]

She nodded as she saw the apprentice with lavender, but frowned a bit at the 'burdock root'. "That is Comfrey root" she mewed. "See? It smell tangy, whilst burdock root has a sharp smell. You need to know the name, touch, looks and smell of every herb, as some look the same or smell the same"

[Fortune's Fool]

Amberpaw frowned at the comfrey root as well. That's what she gets for guessing. With a small sigh she grabbed the roots and headed back to the storage, After replacing the comfrey, she took another look at the various plants. "Sharp smell..." She muttered. "Here!" She exclaimed softly, grabbing the burdock root and returning to Cottonheart.
