Skylar sat down, after putting her bag up and shoving her backpack by her feet. Boy, would this be fun. She sat down near the window and looked at the town that they lived in the distance. Well, America here we come! Hopefully they would get to California- they had beautiful beaches and she really wanted to try riding a horse again. She had done it as a child, but couldn't wait to try again. Buckling up, she wondered what to do as suddenly, the van started riding across the grass, and then speeding. " Woah! Someone tell Griffon to slow down a little! " Skye shook her head, before turning when Gavin was trying to tell a joke. " Uh... Eight? " She guessed, thinking about how many arms-or legs and Octopus had. Then again- when was Gavin ever logical? A grin appeared on her face at the thought.

❥ Emily gave a quiet groan when Griffon started going faster. "I'll just finish the drawing at a hotel or when were stopped or driving safely." Emily muttered quietly to herself. She closed her sketchbook up with the picture inside the page in put her book back inside her bag. Emily leaned back in her seat and listened to her music. She turned her head when Gavin asked about a joke. "Eight's my guess as well." Emily told him, before turning her head back to her ipod. Emily minimized her music and opened up Temple Run 2, which she was quite good at.

{{well, the only thing for Darcy was that Griffon replied to her joke ("yeah and you read stupid batman comics like a nerd.") and everyone got in the car and now their headed along their route, and they will stop at anything interesting.

Gavin snickered to himself when the two girls replied eight legs. Typical, that was the normal answer that everyone said. He wait a bit for a dramatic pause before answering the joke. "TENTICKLES!" he yelled, moving his arms in a tenticle like fashion. He laughed to himself, waiting to see if everyone was as amused as he was. He slapped his knee ironically, because it wasn't even that funny, even though the octopus joke was his favorite joke to tell people. Gavin loved being the jokester in the group since he loves making people laugh more than anything. He sat in silence for a little bit and then piped up again. "Hey Griff, where are we headed?" he asked, relaxing back on the seat of the van, enjoying the ride. He didn't get car sick which was good, but that gave him the idea of a prank to play on Miles later.

Griffon heard Gavin call out the joke in the back of the van as the answer was weird it was just Tentickles.... He then heard someone ask where he was stopping and he facepalmed his face, "If you can't see Gavin, were stopping at a hotel for the night." I said sighing then I laid my face on the wheel mumbling, "someone want to go check in for me?" He stuck out his keys that the hotel gave him to use for all of the rooms witch costed a lot of money.

❥ Emily stood up from the seat and carefully took the Keyes. "I'll go, il come back after I check in." Emily replied, taking her bag-and Honey inside- with her as she went inside to check them in. She told the lady at the front desk they were now here. After she checked in she walked back outside and went back outside to her friends. "Were all checked in." Emily told them, giving them their room keys. Honey meowed and moved around in the bag before poking her head over the top. Emily sighed and put her back inside.

Skylar chuckled, lifting an eyebrow as Gavin practically rolled on the floor at his joke. " Good one, " She smiled at him, turning around and sitting back into her seat. Yawning slightly, Skye pulled out her MP3 player and started listening to a random song on her playlist. " Radioactive " was a song she had heard while listening to the radio, which was slightly ironic. She hummed along to her chorus, pressing her head against the window and closing her eyes. Ah, this was the life.

As they arrived at the hotel, she snapped out of her daze, listening to " It's My Life " end. Which was around 5 songs after Radioactive. That was quite a long doze, she thought as she looked around. They were at the hotel! She gave a grin, getting up and walking to where Carson and Darcy were sitting. She took her room key happily from Emily. " So, is everyone ok? " It was her duty to make sure they would get along most of the time, and she took it pretty seriously. No one seemed in a huff, so she assumed nothing happened.

Carson had been mostly quiet during the duration of the drive, keeping busy listening to music on his iPod and reading over her shoulder the comics Darcy had brought. He started getting sleepy after a while, and was about to fall asleep when he was jostled awake as the van rolled over the grass. His eyes felt heavy and he rubbed them while yawning, Man, I need more sleep. Carson heard Gavin tell a joke about an octopus and he turned around, "Good one, Gavin," he said, chuckling at Gavin's hand motions. He turned back around and put his ear buds back in, turning on Pandora. He enjoyed the random mix of songs that played from his stations, finding it hard to stay awake as the music slowly became muddled in his mind.

When they arrived at the hotel, Carson sighed with relief since he had to use the bathroom pretty badly. He took the key card that Emily handed him, getting out of the seat and grabbing his suitcase. "See you all in the morning, guys!" he said, giving a lackluster wave and yawning as he went into the hotel. He took a look his card, Room 108... that way, he thought, going to the left. Once at the room, Carson slid the card into the slot and pulled it out, waiting for the door to unlock. A soft 'click' sounded and the door was open. He went inside the hotel room and instantly walked to the bathroom. After using the toilet, he flopped down on the bed and sighed; it was so soft and comforting. He kicked off his shoes and took off all but his boxers, climbing underneath the thick blankets, exhaustion encompassing him.

Miles watched with little interest as people talked and interacted. He was mostly listening to music that played from his headphones connected to his iPhone, which he had downloaded a few songs onto. When Griffon drove over the grass he didn't say a word, only letting his body rock side to side in motion with the van. The music ended, and there was a few seconds of silence before Miles realized that he had come to the end of the playlist. I think were almost at the hotel. No use playing anything else, he thought, packing his things away and putting on his shoes. As they stopped in front of the hotel, he put his backpack on and waited for Emily to come back. He took the key card she handed to him and made his way towards the front of the van. "I'm good, thanks for checking, Sky," he said, smiling at her before jumping out and heading towards the door of the hotel. He quickly made his way towards his room and unlocked the door, flopping down on the bed. His shoes were quickly dispatched of, along with his socks. Without undressing, he climbed under the covers and fell asleep right away.
