I nodded and morphed my wings, my paws lighting fire without burning me.

Flash watched the fire dancing across Flame's paws with weary silver eyes, then hovered lower to the ground. "Follow my shadow." She called as the Beta Female lined up the dark silhouette casted by her body on the ground with the imaginary border lines in her head. With a flap of wings, she began to slowly fly forward, hoping the pup would do as told. If all went well, then progressively, they should get faster and faster, which would result in the territory borders being marked in at least a few hours. Though it would be tricky, for Flash would have to navigate in a very wide circle around the camp without any barrings of where she was. With every worrysome thought like that occurring in her mind, the pale golden she-wolf felt her stomach roll.

Flash tossed glances over her shoulder at the young one, then gave a quick sigh of relief to see that nothing had caught fire that wasn't supposed to. So far so good... She thought slowly, worried that she might jinx it by thinking so. Her pace started to get faster, strong wings propelling her lightweight body forward, eyes scanning the ground. Every once in a while, the beta would fly above the trees and look around to see where she wanted to guide the pup next, then she would disappear below the foliage once more to greet Flame and continue tracing the borders.

Lets pretend that Flash has known tFlame since yhe pup was born, but Flame couldnt remember anything before she met Winter. And flame asks this now?)

"Flash? For as long as I can remember, I lived in the pack since I was born. But it doesn't feel like I was born wih the pack ( she was born a few days before Silver, Ember and Flame joined the pack.). Why do I feel this way?"

Flash gestured to the forest spreading out before them with one of her front paws. "As Beta, it is my job to mark the borders, but I will never get them done as quickly as I like by myself. So, if you'd like, I can slowly fly along the borders to show you where they are, and you can burn the ground so the fire leaves a visual mark as to what line outsiders can't cross. Still like to help?" She questioned, tipping her head to the side in curiosity. The winged wolf didn't need the help of course, oh no she would never admit to something like that, but it could speed up the process.

Death went back to swimming in the lake he thought about earlier maybe he was to harsh on flash but then again she was pretty rude to him but he just wished she would like him back and not always fail his attempts at romance.

Winter glanced away for a second then looked to his paws, clearly distraught about what he wanted to say. Over the course of time he had been he, the pup had grown more comfortable with these wolves and had even gone so far as to becoming light hearted and outgoing. Now, however, he seemed to be shrinking back into his former, timid self that he had once been when he first arrived. A silent paused passed between them before he found his voice again. "Who are my parents?"

Flash tensed as the pup asked her such a question, blank, silver eyes staring straight ahead as she was lowered into her subconscious. In truth, to put it technically, Flame had been born a few days before her family joined the pack, making her a non-pack born. However, she had been raised in this pack since she was a week old, so did those first few days even matter? Still... Flash thought. Why hadn't her parents spoke of this before? Is there a reason they didn't tell Flame about where she was born? The she-wolf pondered in her mind for a long, silent pause as she debated what to do, then sighed. Guess she'll find out sooner or later... "Well Flame, you weren't... physically born in this pack..." She paused for a second, wondering if Flame would respond, then continued. "Your parents joined the pack a few days after you were born..."
