- Shaylene couldn't help the small squeak at the boys finger prodding her side, though she was glad he was more gentle than most boys who'd stab your side as if their finger was a knife and you were their prey. She shook her head at the thought of the boy tripping girls in the hallway and she smiled a bit, her mood lifted from the boys attitude towards everything in general. She stuck her tongue out at him when he began fake crying. "I'm not keeping anything from you because you're a dude. I literally don't have anyone in mind to go with." she hummed, bringing a hand up and scratching at her hair. "Everyone either has someone else or isn't interested." she shrugged, her shoulders sinking back down a bit more than they'd been before she had shrugged. She looked over to the people putting their names in the cup again and she hummed before looking back to him. "Even if I don't get asked though I'd still go, i mean come on, I'm not missing out on the fun for anything." she grinned.

- Timothy felt his heart stop just a moment in his chest when she almost cast a spell at him and he began laughing when she put her wand away, bending over with the force of his laughter, holding his arms over his stomach and he nearly fell over, this making him laugh more and he grinned widely at the two. "You should have seen your faces though." he choked out around his fit of laughter, cheeks going a bit red from the amount of laughter. After a moment or two he composed himself and straightened up. He looked over at Monroe with a bit of a smile. "Better watch out, Iris wants a rematch and she's only gonna want to win that much more." he chimed before looking at them both, their prefect badges glimmering in the sudden ray of light. "Prefects? In the forest?" he gasped dramatically and looked around at the sky. "Is the world ending?" he asked, being a bit more dramatic, the way he was used to behaving.

- Atticus let out a small chuckle at her commenting on him assuming she wouldn't win. He raised his hands in defense. "I was just trying to keep my competition in check." he grinned before he looked to the cup. He hummed thoughtfully a moment, watching her drop the slip of paper with her name on it inside, it catching blue fire instantly and he let his head tilt to the side a moment, opening his pocket and using his wand to draw out a small slip of paper and a pen. He looked over at her and shrugged. "Enchanted pockets, whatever." he hummed before scribbling his name in a neat scrawl across the paper, walking over to the cup and holding the paper in his hand only a moment longer before dropping it and letting it catch fire, the blue flames licking painlessly at his fingers and he nodded a bit in accomplishment before he returned to where he had been before. "I'm gonna be holding that cup soon enough." he grinned, leaning back against the wall a moment, looking around the room with a hum.

- Clark looked up from his lap once he'd finished cleaning off his glasses, putting them back on his face and searching the room for sight of any familiar faces. He noticed Phyllis over near the door, talking to some Slytherin boy. He huffed slightly, hoping whatever their small arrangement was that it wasn't something that would last too long. He'd tried to find another girl of his interest but none of them seemed to be around. He had already finished eating and he sure wasn't planning on staying around much longer though he wanted to at least hang about just long enough to try and talk to someone. He'd felt like such a loner for the past few days, keeping a bit to himself. He looked to the door as more people filed in but none of them were interesting, none of them caught his eye, they were practically just nameless people. He let out a soft sigh before propping his elbow against the table, resting his cheek against his palm.
