Jersey stood up.
"Uh, sure."
Jersey looked into her eyes. Quickly, he looked away. He slowly began to walk outside, still trying to catch his breath.

Angel nodded to June, "make yourself comfortable" she smiled and flicked her tail towards some moss. Angel walked out into the howling wind, and turned to let Jersey out.

"Thank you." June stated.

Jersey started up the hill. The winds had died down and there was less rain.
He couldn't help feeling like Angel didn't want anything to do with him. Angel did not want to stay with him after all.
Jersey felt pain. But an unnormal pain.

Angel walked up the hill next to him. Her heart was pounding, and she looked at him. Once they got to the front of his den, she gave him a quick nuzzle, and ran through the bushes. She arrived back at her den, curled up, and fell asleep. She fell asleep thinking of Jersey.

Angel padded out of her den, and looked at June as she left. She thought about Jersey, but shook it off and made her way to the small spring next to her den.
