I say warmly, "I know we don't know eachother that well, but we can be friends. I really like having friends." I say it loudly, and look at Foxfur as i finish; i like having friends. I do. And Foxfur is one of my best friends. I need to apologize.

I catch Shadepelts gaze and hold it, listening as he speaks to Windsong. He likes having friends. Is that his apology? Well if it is he's going to have to do a lot better than that. I let out a huff, turn, and continue down the final stretch of border before we're back at camp. This patrol has seemed endless, and uneventful, and surprisingly painful.

Hawktail:
As we near camp, i feel a strange anxiousness rise in my chest. Almost like somthing's wrong, but lighter than dread; more like anticipation. Thunderstar. Something about Thunderstar. We need to get back soon.
