I let out an irritated hiss before I can stop myself, "If you want him to come out here so bad go get him!" I grunt, turning away from her. I scatter the remains of my freshkill and go stand by the camp entrance, waiting for the rest of the stupid patrol.

Baffled at Shadepelt's behavior, I look around for someone else to come on the patrol. It seems him and Russetclaw aren't getting along. I walk over to where I see Hawktail exiting Thunderstars den, "Come on, you're on the dawn patrol." I say, moodily, feeling upset about Shadepelts sudden anger towards me. I join the aforementioned by the entrance to camp and feel a chill in the air. "HAwktail's coming." I say stiffly.

Hawktail:
"Morning, I think i'll see if I can't do something useful, you should rest." I say to Thunderstar, as soon as I've left, Foxfur has me on a patrol. I quickly follow her and Shadepelt out of camp.

She relaxes with the sun on her back, sweet smells drifting near her and a peaceful mind.

I ignore Foxfur's comment, and look around the clearing. I catch sight of Windsong, a pretty she-cat, and meow a greeting. "Why doesn't Windsong join the patrol?" I ask Foxfur, and without waiting for an answer, I run over to the she-cat, "Hey, windsong, want to come on dawn patrol with us?" I ask, thinking that if Foxfur is bent on being ignorant, I might as well make it more obvious.

Eventually comes back to camp and sees Thunderstar kitting. She looks on with envy, Shinepaw only just now realizes how much she loves kits. "Can I see them?" She asks Jaymoon.
