Rowan smiled softly at her, in a friendly way of course. He didn't intentionally have feelings, for her, but as a friend she'd be pretty nice. He stood up slowly, brushing the invisible dirt of his pants awkwardly before clearing his throat and rubbing the back of his neck, his thoughts trailing elsewhere. The Founder's Tournament. He had been so caught up in the quidditch game that he'd nearly forgotten something that he'd been waiting all seven years of Hogwarts he'd came for. Offering a hand, he helped her up, still keeping it there unless she tried to fall down again.
"
No, they probably won't. But I think rainbow hair is still pretty cool." He shrugged before letting out a weak but genuine smile at her, before walking a bit, soon releasing the hand awkwardly and shoving it in his uniform pockets.
"How about we go get changed.. I think the feast is going to start. I'll see you around.." He smiled at her softly, something he rarely ever done, before he cupped her hand in his palm and let go as he ran slowly out of the field, glancing over his shoulder and waving before he went on. Heading into the snakes locker room, he let out a loud breath before changing into jeans, a shirt and his robes, he walked out before he looked around for Monroe, not even realizing he had bumped into Pepper.
"Hey, watch-" He started, but then he looked down and realized it was her.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" He murmured before he smiled warmly and sat down next to her, his heart thumping in his chest. Would he ask her?

Phyllis raised her eyebrow at his response, before she shrugged and kept walking ahead, her hair blowing behind her as a wind swept across her face soundlessly.
"Obviously not." She smiled, her eyes kept ahead of her before she shoved her hands into her pockets again, biting her lip as her hazelnut colored eyes flickered over to him. The silence had been odd, but she wasn't one to back down too quickly.
"I felt like you were alone and needed someone to be there for you." She murmured, before turning away again. She had shifted a bit, so that she was behind him just by a few feet as her back straightened slightly. She was odd, yes. Nobody had ever really truly wanted to befriend her for her different ways, she wasn't afraid to talk to anyone or anything. Without notice, she blinked and looked up silently. The sky was different a bit, she could tell in the way the clouds had swirled around each other. Everyone knew the Founder's Tournament was coming, and her stomach clenched tightly as she thought about the game. You had to play smart to win, you can't let fear come inside. She looked up at Atticus, who was now a few feet away before running closer to him.
"Are you going to try for the Founder's Tournament?" She asked, her voice sounding like a small tinkle of bells that was distant still as she gazed at him quietly.
