abaddon wasn't always reserved. his violent tendencies towards other stallions stem from an incident that occurred when he was a colt. his father was challenged by another stallion. not only did the stallion win, taking abaddon's mother and herdmates as his prize, but they also killed abaddon's father. luckily, abaddon was old enough to be independent and managed to flee whilst the victor gathered up the mares. the image of his lifeless father, and the brutality of the stranger, still haunts him to this day.

abaddon isn’t a stallion that you’d want to lock horns with. he can be violent, if it means getting what he wants. although he is stoic and blunt by nature, often appearing to be brooding over something (he has some issues, other horses tend to give him a wide birth and he takes it personally), he does have a soft side – it’s buried somewhere in there. he needs someone to dig deep wtihin him, past his rough exterior, and find that soft center and nurture it; help him grow into the beautiful, kind stallion i know he can be.
