D'Artagnan swam more, towards the waterfall. As he got closer, he noticed a platform behind it. With strict determination, the Andalusian stallion swam closer and through the water and onto the platform, watching his tail drip water; feeling the water droplets from his mane zig zag down his shoulder and legs the floor. It was then that D'Artagnan heard the responding whinny. He raised his head and let out a call back...

Nightmare flashed a smile at the black mare. "Nice to meet you Shadow, I'm Nightmares Are Real, but call me Nightmare." The black stallion stated, his voice soft as he gazed at her. He heard everything Desiree said, and then what Shadow said. "Back to my original question, would you Desiree and you, Shadow, like to be apart of my new herd?" He asked, his muscles tensing up slightly, worried they wouldn't want to join him.

He felt her rub her face against his neck. His eyes half-closed as he watched her lay down. He stayed standing, but kept his ears flicking around for any sounds of danger. He swished his small tail slightly, as he focused on the sounds around him. He had his eyes half closed, but he could hear everything, from the horses below him to whinnies away from them.

Phoenix lifted her head from the water and the droplets fell off her soft muzzle. She wondered if the voice that had called out before had heard her. She picked her way down the river bank, where she heard the first whinny sound from. The mare heard the sounds of a waterfall and picked up the pace slightly. Soon, she came to a clear pool of water with a waterfall beyond it. It was then that she heard the whinny, that sounded real close. Phoenix let out yet another responding whinny, and then she waded into the water.
