They've been out in the bunny adventure for a while now. Their huge demand dropped a very long time ago and they haven't been worth much, so they brought them back. They had to put something interesting in the adventures.

In perspective, they're nothing compared to bringing back the older member gifts :l

What are member gloves?

Your member gloves are lava, monster/dragon, mummy and legendary. Dragon/monster (same thing) and legendary are in the diamond shop already; it is suspected that the other two will soon be joining them. There are also golden lava, monster/dragon, legendary and mummy gloves, but I doubt that they will come to the diamond shop. Who knows? The first member gift ever was the member gloves. There were 32 total, I believe, four glove kinds and eight colors for each kind.


Oh I forgot spirit. Those are more common, they were released a little less than a year ago for the member gift, before they got rid of member gifts and introduced diamonds.

XD I remember that too. Anyone with a glove got the same treatment as the famous jammers do now!

You can find the colored nonmember gloves in the bunny adventure, I think it's called the return of the phantoms? You may get them from the arctic wolf cave or the end prize, I've gotten them both ways c;

They're bringing them back because the game isn't about rares or scamming. There's a large group of kids who don't have them and want them so they're supplying the demand. To be honest, what they're doing is smart. They're keeping kids from getting frustrated about not getting items and quitting. If each kid pays 6 dollars a month for membership and they have 100 kids paying one month and only 40 the next, they're losing 360 dollars that month. In retrospect, if they didn't bring back new things and appease the users' needs, they might lose enough profit for them to shut down the game.


As mentioned before, their point to making the game was to make an educational game for younger kids. It wasn't intended to be a spot for online bullying (e.g. ridiculing a member for not being "rare" ) and scamming.

Well there are some good things and some bad things in animal jam bringing back high demanded items back.
I had spikes, nonmember gloves, worns, clouds, etc. All before the diamond store days.
I admit, when they brought in the diamond store I felt like bashing my computer repeatedly.
Yes, some "famous" rare jammers overreacted.
On the good side, all those other jammers who were DYING to get these items, now have a chance.
And although, some of the jammers who have gotten the items from the diamond store automatically think they rule the whole game, animal jam isn't just about rares. c:
