Unwanted
According to Lirrie (the creator of this breed/species), when a dark cub is born, the cub is sometimes not wanted by its parents. Chione was the darkest cub in her litter, and her parents literally pushed her away every time she came crawling back to them. The only reason she survived to adulthood was due to the kindness of two new Crystinalian mates, who could not have cubs themselves. They took her in and raised her, finding out about her disability later in life.
Lonely
Being shunned from your family is a very lonely thing. Yes, Chione has her adopted parents, but she has no foster or adopted siblings. Her biological siblings won't speak to her - and on the rare occasion that they do, it is only to insult her and bully her. Her parents don't ever speak to her, unless she's standing in their way and they need to get through. Usually they just push her away and continue walking. Due to this, Chione's only friends are her foster parents, who take pity on her and try to help her in any way they can.
Gifted
While Chione cannot see, she is one of the best hunters in the pack. Due to her being ignored most of the time, she knows how to stay silent and be stealthy - both of which are qualities that good hunters need. She rarely bumps into things, as she's used to feeling her way around, and she rarely gets cold, due to her extremely thick coat. In the past she has offered to lie down with newborn kits to keep them warm, but most of the time the parents deny her the privilege.
Quiet
Chione doesn't speak much, but when asked a question she will be certain to answer. She is naturally quiet, due to so many Crystinalians being mean to her whenever she does speak up. Her opinions are not valued in her pack, even though she is an important factor in how much prey the pack takes in every month.
Intelligent
Having so much time to herself, she has plenty of opportunities to think. She is one of the smartest Crystinalians in the pack, but being this intelligent only causes her to be less likely to find friendship.
Determined
Being disabled and looked down upon by nearly all of her pack may have saddened and shunned Chione, but it has only made her more determined to show them that they're wrong. She is determined to be the best at whatever she can do well, even if no one appreciates her actions.
Tetchy and Irascible
Chione can be very irritable, and easily-angered. When upset at something, it is best not to approach her, as she'll usually end up snarling at you. It's not very often that she has these mood-swings, but when she does, it's best to keep your distance, as she can be utterly ferocious during these times.

Other Information:
She's the first Crystinalian I ever got. I won her from the Symphony Character Adoption Agency in November of 2013, along with her mate, Caerwyn. An interesting fact about her is that she's blind, and sometimes needs help from her husband to get around.
