He looked around, He saw the other horse and nickered. He turned his broad head back to the water.

she still looked uncertain "hi..."

He looked back over at her and meekly said, "hello."

"I'm Shade,who are you?" She asked

The mare blinked. "Wow." She thought, gazing ahead with an empty expression. "I am terribly sorry for your brother..." Calypso didn't know what to say on the subject, so she continued. "if she's so ferocious, do you think the humans would really want her back...?" She spoke her fear aloud, but quiet enough that only Dancer could hear. She glanced at Dynamite, worried for him. Worried for the herd. Suddenly she was glad she was apart of something stronger and no longer a loner.

"Yeah, they value her strength. they used her in competitions, and she won what they called hundreds of thousands.
she is very valuable." Dancer shook her head. "We should be safe where Darken leads us."

Tare drank from the stream, he flicked his tail. He lifted his head from the river and observed his reflection.

Calypso

"Oh. I hope so." She glanced behind her shoulder, not really expecting to see anyone. She slowed her pace slightly to a walk, relaxing her neck to where it was level with her body. The mare still had anxiety and a nervous feeling that felt like a lump in her throat. She glanced at Dynamite. "How are you doing over there?" She tried to sound friendly to the colt for she never really talked to him. She couldn't help but let a bit of her anxiety escape her voice. If she had known about Wrath, maybe she would have saved her blows for another fight. She thought her side was hurting from her buck, but maybe that was from running too much earlier. She couldn't be sure. Calypso glanced at Darken then the others in the herd.
