Ivycloud looked at Smudgekit and picked the kit up by the scruff. "I better bring you back you camp." She told Smudgekit calmly. Inside, she secretly thought it was pretty impressive how the kit snuck out of camp.

"No!Pwease let me stay!" She whined,but didn't striggle

"I'm sorry, but you can't come out of camp until you're apprenticed with a warrior escort." Ivycloud reminded, her voice muffled from Smudgekit's fur. "Besides, what would Moonstar or your mother say about it? I'd get my fur shredded for letting you." Ivycloud added good naturedly.

(Hey Wolfy, Ivycloud is gonna be Sandpaw's mentor now that Cloudsong is retiring.)

"Don' worry!" Kestrelclaw assured Smudgekit. "You'll be a big, strong warrior b'fore you know it, and then you'll be able to explore all ya want, wherever ya want! For now though, you're just gonna have to stay in the nursery. But I'll tell ya what—if Mintheart an' Moonstar say it's okay, how 'bout I show you around the territory sometime?"

Maplefur sat in front of the warriors den, his tail swaying back and forth, he was bored out of his mind, right now.

Milkflower sat on the edge of the camp clearing, staring off into the forest. There was a sad, distant look in her eyes. A look of longing.

Larkpaw lay in the middle of the camp, her paws over her head. She still bore scars from the badger attack. "StarClan, if you have pity, kill me now!"

Cinderpaw watched Larkpaw from afar, her heart flooding with sympathy for the young she-cat. Poor Larkpaw...She's had to go through a lot. The tabby apprentice suddenly felt a strong determination to cheer up her friend, and with a quick, silent prayer to StarClan that she would be able to do just that, she bounded over to Larkpaw. "Hello, Larkpaw. Are...are you okay? Do your wounds still hurt a lot?"
