Lionstar lead his patrol out of camp and towards the twoleg border. His ears pricked in alertness as he padded on. The hairs along his spine were slightly standing on end. Something was on his mind as they got closer to their destination.

Brackenstripe nodded politely, "It's no problem." His gaze wandered to her round belly. "So how are the kits coming along? I hope the other kits here aren't causing too much stress for you." He meowed.

Nightpaw could just see the grassy hollow ahead. Her mind was full of thoughts about her training.

Blackpaw nosed through the prey trying to find a nice warm one. He picked a fresh mouse from the pile just what Creampaw suggested. He smiled lightly as held the warm prey in his jaws and trotted over to a nice patch of grass to lay on.

Mistfall quickly ate seeing how Tigerpaw was patiently waiting for her to finish. She buried the morsel and swiped a paw over her mouth. "Okay, let's go Tigerpaw." She said and padded towards the entrance.

Ebonytail:
"Good.And No not really much stress I just can't wait to be a warrior again." Ebonytail nodded. She looked at her belly in wonder

(I pm'ed the person for what time it starts for Pacific but I think it's 8am. I'm also on Pacific time so I hope I don't miss the gathering too lol.)

Brackenstripe chuckled lightly, "I bet, it's no fun being couped up in a den for moons." He quietly got up on his paws, "It was nice chatting with you, Ebonytail. I better get back to my duties before Hawkheart or Lionstar catch me."

Mistfall smiled, "Great. Okay, well the apprentices will be a tag team while Dappleheart and I will be rogues going after you two. Communication is key."

Nightpaw nodded and glanced at Tigerpaw. "Ready partner?" She asked with a small giggle. "I was thinking of being back to back or going after one of them at a time. What do you think? " she whispered asking for his opinion.

She gave him a grateful smile as he cam trotting over, carrying the mouse. "And what's the occasion? You're never this courteous towards me." She said with mock suspicion, raising a brow in a playful gesture.

As he followed after Lionstar, he noticed the leader look slightly uneasy. Perplexed, he scented the air, and instantly recognized a strange scent. "Lionstar." He called, his voice a growl as his eyes locked on a nearby patch of bushes, which were rustling. "It's a kittypet." He growled, lashing his tail.

The pretty she-cat was rustling about in the bushes, grumbled to herself, when she heard a voice. A particularly angry voice. This is it! These are the fabled Forest Cats! She thought eagerly, forgetting her soiled pelt. She stepped forward from the bushes, but her paw got caught, and she tumbled out head over tail, landing at a large tom(Lionstar's) paws. Scrambling back, the smaller she-cat looked up at him expectantly, only to be disappointed. The fabled 'Legendary Forest Cats' were nothing more than filthy strays! The very thought of her ever having idolized them made her cringe. Still, there was a strange look about these cats, which she noticed when she looked over the group one by one. They were all big. Much bigger than she was...

She smiled. "They soothe the pain of bites and help with infection. You are still fairly young, and so i dont expect you to know everything. But keep this in mind, since rat bites can get very badly infected" she said. She pushed some more old moss into a pile. "We need to get more moss for the den" she said.
