juniperpaw pushed himself to his feet, wincing slightly at the ache that tugged at his body, but the dog had begun to approach him again, barking ravenously a it lunged. he did his best to try to move away in time, but it caught him by the haunches and pinned him, barking in his face before nipping at his face with sharp teeth.

The she-cat looked to Duskpaw, she nodded to him, giving him an affectionate lick over his ear, happy he had rescued her. It filled her with delight, she hadn't been able to do anything... so... helpless. She had been so helpless, she had been nothing, no use. She almost choked on herself though quickly caught herself, looking to him quietly."Move..." she mumbled in a raspy voice, having grown this way from not being used and she slowly went up the stairs of the abandoned home.
