Rainsplash smiled to the kits and knew Volantkit would follow his so talked in a hushed whisper so she could not hear. "I may have had these kits with Ivyfrost..and yes I still love her...but it can't work with her...my heart is still open."

Thunderkit glared at his mother, any love towards her had gone. How could she lie to him all along about his father!? He shook his head as he watched his father walk away with the deputy and sat down, his blue eyes peered across camp.

Fawndapple laid her tail on is shoulder. "You're doing what's best for the kits and putting their needs and wants in front of your own. What cat could do more? You deserve Ivyfrost, but you won't get her because you love her and want to keep each other safe. Think about that for a while because you're doing what's best not what's wrong." she meowed.
