Thomas put Alexa back to sleep and came back down with Emily, seeing she looked kind of depressed. He sat next to her and took her hand, smiling reassuringly at her. He wanted to kiss her, but he figured her parents wouldn't like that.

Emily forced a smiled and laid her head on Thomas's shoulder. He made her feel a little better."oh my Emily...we are so sorry. Congrats on being pregnant we are truly happy for you."said her parents. Emily nodded and looked at Thomas." I'm sorry but I need sleep."said Emily before walking upstairs and laying down. She hoped Thomas would come up

Thomas watched Emily go upstairs, then glanced at her parents. "Well, it is getting sort of late. Can I show you where your room will be?" With those words he lead hem down to the guest room then went after Emily. He leaned against the doorway and watched her for a minute.

Thomas blinked, dumbfounded. He liked that her family came to visit...why was she so annoyed by it? He didn't question her, she was stressed enough. He stayed quiet and kissed her head, comforting her as she cried.
