"If I were to go talk to her... d'you think it would help?"

JJ called Sarah.

Luke paused, then nodded slowly. "I think it'd be more effective than if you just let it sit, yeah."

Sarah picked up the phone. "Hello?"

Kris stood. "Lets go."

"Hey baby its me. You doing alright?" He asked.

Luke nodded and stood with her. "Right now? Or would you rather wait a bit?"

When she heard JJ on the other end of the line, Sarah relaxed a bit. "Hey sweetheart." She paused. Well...kind of. You'll never believe what just happened."

"Now," she said. "I can't afford to loose her more than I already have. That goes for Jamie too." Thats what she called Jameson.

JJ listened. "What happened?"

Luke nodded once more and kissed her forehead. "Come on, I'll drive." He pulled on his shoes.

Sarah explained everything to him.

Kris got dressed and laced their fingers.

"Oh gosh... is she okay? Are you?"

Luke didn't look, still not totally sure where their relationship stood. "Ready?" he asked, looking up as he felt her lace their fingers together.

Sarah sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "Yes, and I don't know."

Kris nodded. "Yeah."

JJ sighed. "Do you want me to come over or are you gonna be okay?"

Luke nodded. "Alright, let's go." He walked out with her and led her to his car.

Sarah bit her lip. "I think I'll be okay, but could you come over anyway?"
