Feeling my fur fluff up under the warm gaze of Summer, I cast a cursory glance at Thunderstar and see with satisfaction she's flicked her ear with the smallest jealousy. Before I can use this to my advantage, she's padded away. I walk over to the kittypet and sit beside her, closer than I normally would; I look over my shoulder after our leader, then back at Summer. "I'm Hawktail; the nicest tom in the clan." I purr, loudly. Hopefully Thunderstar notices me now...

Foxfur:
Sniffing in distaste at the friendly pass between Hawktail and... Summer, I turn and pad across the clearing to where Spottedkit and Blazekit are tussling playfully. "Careful you two," I meow warmly, "It's safer if you gather your weight on your haunches like this." I crouch down, settling my weight carefully on my hind legs, "That way when another cat knocks into you, you aren't seriously injured; and you keep your balance." I stand, flick my ear in amusement, and walk over to the fresh kill pile to check our stock. The kits love getting warrior advice.

with a little jealousy I pad back to Hawktail "he sure is the nicest tom in the clan" I purr sweetly hoping to earn some affection from him..

Overwhelmed by the sudden attention (even though it was my goal to begin with), I let out a bursting purr. "You're too kind, Thunderstar." I stutter graciously, ducking my head and licking my chest nervously. Does she know? Does she know I've had a crush on her since before she was clan leader? I give my head a light shake. "Uh... Summer... it was nice meeting you." I say, dipping my head and backing away, I glance a my leader, then add hesitantly, "Would you like to hunt with me later, Thunderstar?"
