JJ waited for a text from Sarah.

Jameson sobbed into her.

Kris sighed. "Guys, nothing's final yet. We still love you guys very much."

Sarah clutched Jameson closer. "No- don't." She looked down and just hugged her brother, trying hard to keep from crying.

Kris sighed, stepping back. "Im sorry guys."

Jameson hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go of Sarah.

Sarah hugged him tightly, trying to swallow the lump in her throat. "It's okay," she whispered to him.

"Can we go upstairs?" He asked.

Sarah nodded. "Of course. Come on." She stood and walked upstairs with him.

He followed her up, still crying.

Once they'd reached Sarah's room, she let go and started crying too. This couldn't be happening. Her parents, whom she thought had been so happy, were likely splitting up. She sat on her bed with him and hugged him close.

Jameson cried with her. After a while, he gave her the phone, knowing she needed JJ.

Sarah still cried as she dialed JJ's phone number. She pressed the phone to her ear with shaky hands.
