Sageleaf nods trying to perk up "yeah it's good, just so we won have as many deaths this new leaf" she says licking her paw then puts it down. "And it's much warmer, much easier to sleep now" she says. She couldn't sleep anyways, but she new her clan mates slept better.

The she-cat looked over, seeing Sageleaf and Rainsplash. "Good morning you two." She yawned before leaving the den, stretching on her way out and once she was outside she watched the Leader and his Apprentice leaving.

The tom looked over at his Mentor, he growled at him in return to his statement and reluctantly followed along him, he chewed on the mouse as he walked, slowly eating it so he could have his fill before they went to train. Once he was done chewing he reluctantly spoke. "So, what are we doing? Besides something boring."

Rainsplash nodded in agreement and looked at Ferretwhisker. "Good morning, and yeah Sageleaf it is a lot easier to sleep now, and when it gets into leaf-bare we can bask in the sun again."

Sunstar rolled his eyes and knew that their would be a protest, he had chosen to take on Malicepaw himself as the others had refused to as he was too much....trouble. "Well we are doing some more hunting practice, you need to learn to hunt...unless you want to starve to death?" He asked the question already knowing the answer.

"Morning" Sageleaf mewed politely. She nods at Rainsplash "I miss laying out in the sun. Hunting is much better as well... Would you like to go hunting? The clan needs food." She mews. She turns to ferretfeather "you could come as well?" She offers, knowin it was easier to hunt in numbers.

He hissed at his Leader, he was rather fearless when it came to superiority and didn't care of Sunstar was the leader, he would still treat him as any other cat which was somewhat admirable of what little could be admired of him. "I won't starve you moronic fool, I can hunt just fine, not perfectly, but fine enough."

She looked over at the she-cat and nodded at the idea of hunting, it would give her the opportunity to get a good stretch in, not to mention it'd be good for the clan to have a nice abundance of prey for later in case something did happen. "Yea, I'll join you guys, it'll be fun, I guess." Ferretwhisper mewed to the two companions.

juniperpaw trotted to the fresh kill pile, his whiskers quivering happily as he found a plump young mouse that would make a perfect morning meal. quickly finding a nice sunny spot, he settled down to eat, pondering what training he and i his mentor would work on today.

Rainsplash nodded tasting his lips imagining the taste of Finch he had not tasted all leaf-bare, it would be good not having snow melted on your fur and giving you a chill. "Then let's go." He said cheerily.

Sunstar looked at the apprentice a little irratated he got out of the remark. "Well why not learn to be perfect and you can brag about it to the clan." He mewed to his apprentice not satisfied with his attitude. How am I ever going to make him a warrior with this attitude?

"I don't want to be perfect." He said to his Leader, not looking at him, the pecious tom felt bitter feelings between him and the Leader which merely made him distance himself more, not like he would've not done it in the first place. Ferretwhisper let herself out of the Warrior's Den, she did agree hunting would be nice and saw her Apprentice. Padding over to the tom she looked him over. "come on, you're going hunting with us, hurry up, get to your paws, I'm not going to wait." Ferretwhisper commanded to her Apprentice, imaging a patrol of four was better than three, plus she could train her apprentice if they needed any help in hunting.

Sageleaf nodded walking towards the exit of camp. She looks back making sure Ferretshisker and Rainsplash were following. Her blue eyes were bright "hopefully we can catch birds today" she mewed smiling. She too missed having birds in their fresh kill pile.
