felicity rolled her eyes at Nick's silly little comment, he could certainly be childish at times, but it was one of the things she liked about him. felicity looked at the colourful aura surrounding Nick, both reddish orange as well as a light shade of blue. "the book says it should go away within the next half hour," she said, glancing quickly back at the page, "but for now it is pretty fun." she laughed lightly, a soft grin playing on her face. "You look good in yellow" she heard him say, and the redness returned to her cheeks, she couldn't help but smile, "and you're not too bad in blue!" she replied with a playful raise of an eyebrow before turning to clean up the unused ingredients as well as tools from the potion making.

Rowan gave him a funny look at his question. "Didn't you see it?" she asked him. She had seen everyone's auroras, even his very Slytherin-like combination of purple and dark green, but she hadn't expected the red. Maybe he got red for dullness. Rowan almost laughed aloud at this thought, but held it back and transferred the energy into a small smile.

"I had light blue, light green, and red," she told him, not really giving him time to answer her question. She had noticed he'd been acting odd, all gitty and what not, which she found very strange. She expected him to of hated working with her since she was in Gryffindor. Shrugging away the thought, she looked to see what he was writing down.

The girl quickly worked at trying to get the paint off of her. Now she had a mop of bright green hair, pink and orange skin, and robes that looked like the rainbow got horribly sick on them. "I dont know. Should we go to Madam Pomfrey or the Head Mistress? Maybe Flitwick had a charm that will work or Slughorn might have a potion?" The raven wracked her brain trying to think of how to get the horrible paint job off of them. "I cant walk around with neon green hair!" She whimpered looking at herself in the mirror. When she saw how ridiculous she looked the girl couldnt help but laugh. "We look like we just got beat with the color wheel." She giggled looking at Monroe who's colored were just as awful as her's. "Hey if it doesnt come off we could always go into the clown business." Skylar said with another giggle not able to contain her laughter any longer. The blue eyed girl didnt relax and goof off like this often. Ravenclaws tended to be more serious and not take things lightly. Any other raven would be letting out a frenzy of spells trying to fix this but Skylar just laughed. Yea it was awful but it was also funny.

Monroe couldn't help but giggle as she laughed. She didn't expect it from Skylar, but she did, and couldn't help but smile. "Well, I guess Professor Flitwick would. Hes pretty good at charms." she said, and smiled at her joke. "I would rather have just green hair. Lets see, I have green, red, blue, orange," she said, and went off naming colors. The Hufflepuff, picked up her rat and slipped him into her robes, and then turned to Skylar. "Well, should we go and find him?" she asked.

Monroe smiled at the Ravenclaw's appearance. Sure, they looked the same, but she couldn't help but smile at her. "You know, Im starting to like this look." she said, and then furrowed her eyebrows. "I should of predicted that though. Normally my Seeing abilities would pick up those small events, but I didn't." she said, thinking about it. Monroe was lost in thought, and then snapped out of it.

Pepper Labonair - 17 - Slytherin - Crush: James & Rowan K - Potions - With Lincoln
Pepper soon snapped out of it when Slughorn called her name. She looked round for a partner and could only see the Gryfindor Lincoln. She shrugged getting up and walking over to him. "Hey there, guess we may as well be partners." She said with a soft smile. She was definitely no stereotypic slytherin as there was no cold and cruel bone in her body. Still it was strange why the hat had placed her in the snake house. Paying attention to the boy, she noticed him looked at Iris and cringe when Thad crushed the beautifully made origami swan. "Don't mind Thad, he can be well a typical Slytherin most of the time. I'm Pepper by the way." She said sitting next to him. She got making the potion that everyone else was doing and soon caught up to some of them. As she prepared to drink it, she looked over at Lincoln before downing it. After a short while her eyes began to irritate her and she closed them. Rubbing them for a few seconds, she opened them and was bombarded with a room full of many colors. She looked over at her friend Iris and smiled after seeing the dark red aura around her. It suited her well. Just then Pepper looked at her hands and arms to see a light blue aura surrounding her slightly tanned skin with some dark blue, turquoise and navy; so basically all the blues. Again she smiled, from what she knew of auras, these all suited her like a glove. Of course if other Slytherins could see hers then shed probably end up getting teased. She never really acted like what her aura was describing but its what she was inside how she truley was. She looked over at Rowan and smiled softly at him as his aura began to show.

Lincoln Jaspers - 17 - Gryfindor - Crush: Iris -Potions - With Pepper
Lincoln looked round as a Slytherin girl and shrugged. "Lincoln Jaspers." He said saying nothing about the swan origami. He too did what everyone else had been doing. Once it was ready, he drank it and winched at the effects. He felt his skin shiver but as he opened his eyes everything had changed. Looking around he saw that everyone was surrounded by color. He looked over at Iris and his eyes widened. Wow! He thought. She looked even more beautiful with the color of her aura surrounding her but then she was always beautiful in his eyes. When he looked down to see his aura, he was a little surprised to see that it was a mix of red and light green. Great! Red was worst with light green yet he was both. But, since Iris' was dark red that ment it was even more weird because Dark Red was best with light green yet worst with red. This was messed up. Or atleast that's what hed read about aura colors.

Rowan nodded at the other Rowan, still puzzled about how their names could be alike. Nodding softly before writing them down slowly on the paper and slipping it in next to the two empty vials, done with the experiment and ready to turn it in for a grade. Turning around, he realized Pepper had all the blue's, and the way they all circled her made his stomach flutter as he smiled back at her weakly. Smiling softly at her, his smile wavered as he stood up and set the tray back down onto Professor Slughorn's desk, before turning around and sticking his tongue out while his teacher couldn't see, getting a few laughs from other students before settling in his seat again, crossing his arms over his chest softly before biting his lip and thrumming the table while thinking again. Sure they had a good quidditch team, but he was a bit afraid of the game against the hufflepuffs. They were all really good- it was going to be a tough match. Just thinking about hitting and wiping the smile of their face put a smile on his face- shaking his head, he bit his lip before sniffing a bit as everyone's colors slowly started evaporating. He looked over at Rowan and shrugged. "So your Rowan too.. right?" He murmured, feeling a bit awkward about talking about this only after they'd just done their experiment. Biting his lip, he looked over his shoulder again at Pepper before back at her, smiling weakly before looking down at their desk.

Iris felt her heart drop when she saw Lincoln was red but it lifted a little when she saw he was light green. Slughorn had warned them about taking their auras too seriously. Auras were complex things that didnt tell you out right who you should and shouldnt be with, they werent just one color which made things difficult. The girl gave a breath when she heard the bell signaling for the next class. Slughorn stood. "I want a 5 foot essay on the Auraic Potion for next class!" He bellowed to make sure the students already rushing out of the class could hear. Iris took her time getting her bag and cleaning up her station. She had Arithmacy next her least favorite class in the entire world and she was far from excited. Her long hair kept falling in her eyes so she threw it up in an ornate twist on the back of her head leaving curly little tendrils on either side of her face. She looked down and saw her Perfect badge was crooked, so she spent several minutes fiddling with that. Finally she left when the next class started to come in, a lot of HUfflepuff First Years looked up at her with wide. The Slytherin gave a smirk and walked past them, her ink black robes bellowing at her feet, leaving an ice in the air Severus Snape would have been proud of.

Skylar had forgotten the Hufflepuff girl had the Inner Eye. Most Hufflepuffs were kind of just there but this girl gave them something to be proud of. When she heard the bell right she shrugged. "We might as well. Im not going to my next class like this. We can go by Flitwick, if anything we can go get new robes and the House Elves can work on ours." She couldnt help but giggle. "They are going to throw a fit at the mess." She had Arithmacy next which she was kind of neutral in, it wasnt difficult but it wasnt easy so she didnt care about it really. Herbology is where she really shined, she loved all the plants and was always reading what they could do if harvest correctly. One day she wanted to open her own shop and sell magical plants and herbs, and also work with them trying to find new uses.

Rowan hadn't been bothering to pay any heed to King till he spoke directly to her. "Yes, that would be correct. If you don't mind, however, just call me by last name. It gets rather confusing when I'm in the same room with another Rowan," she told him before realizing it was time to switch classes. But of course, there was always the homework assignment which everyone seemed to dread. Rowan didn't mind homework, and actually enjoyed doing it. It gave her something to do in her free time instead of wandering around Hogwarts alone.

Only five feet? she thought to herself, but smiled smirkishly as others around the room groaned at the task they were given for homework. It would take her no time to finish that. Getting up, she turned to King, whom she had now decided to call by last name whether he liked it or not. "Well, it was nice working with you today. See you later," she told him before gathering her things and headed off to her next class; COMC with the Hufflepuffs.

Once she had reached where the class was meeting for COMC (not sure if inside or outside), Rowan set down her things and began to fiddle with her hair. Even though she left it down every day, it still got in the way a lot. She never really tried messing around with putting it up though, knowing she would just take it back down after a few hours. Sighing, she gazed around, trying to see if she remembered any of the Hufflepuffs.

antonio jose verdex. seventeen. ravenclaw. prefect.

the signal the classes had changed stopped antonio in his tracks. wow, skipping a class had never been considered. they had even almost reached the history room, this was the funny thing. he turned around and smiled awkwardly at fae. "that was our first class we ever skipped together - friendship. i've got to do arithmacy now. hey, if you ever see me alone fae, don't be scared to say hi." the raven informed, strolling away from his new-found friend. he knew once they got past the awkwardness, they'd eventually turn out to be great pals.

once again the class was doubled up. ravenclaws were with the slytherins and gryfindors with hufflepuffs. whatever he missed in history class couldn't have been too bad, seeing how you could just read it from the book. instead of taking his time to get to arithmacy, antonio made sure he was on time. after all, the prefect badge he wore symbolized he was a student wizards and witches hoped to be. it's not like he was the first one to ever skip class. in fact, he had hurried at an incredible casual walk...that wasn't fast enough.

it was a grand sight to behold with his own two eyes that he was the first to arrive. he sat near the back, knowing ravenclaws weren't the type to do that sort of thing. however, not only was it grand to be the first to arrive but it was also nice to sit somewhere different for a change. this also granted him the priviledge of seeing who else would arrive without looking at all excited. the expression antonio wore resembled the adjective stoic. there wasn't much feeling outlining his chiseled features nor manipulating his eyes.

as mentioned before he knew what house would be in this classroom with his ravenclaws - the slytherins. sometimes they would whisper to their housemates, start poking fun at one of the ravens, or just remain eerily quiet. antonio had never been intimidated by the snakes, just weary and prudent. of course not all the greens were troublemakers, whisperers, or silent some were fun to be around. antonio hadn't found the person who resembled the characteristics but he was hopeful.

Rowan sighed as the homework was announced- he hated homework. Why force students into doing more work after they'd just done a whole entire day of work? Shaking his head, he stood up slowly before gathering his stuff together and picking up his monsterous bag, turning to look at Professer Slughorn. He could have sworn he saw the man stick his tongue out, but he blinked and walked away. He and the other Slytherins had Arithmacy, along with a few other kids from other classes who were mixed in. Making his way to that class, he stopped beside Pepper and waved at her before he kept walking. "You were all blue huh? It suits you." He joked before making his way inside, the green patch on his chest dignafying that he was 100% snake. Sitting down silently, he bit his lip before waiting for the teacher to come in. It was probably going to be quite a wait, seeing all the teachers were pretty old. Smiling smugly at the thought, he tapped his pencil against the desk before yawning and leaning back in his chair, possibly taking a few minute nap if he could. There was nothing wrong with that, was there? Shaking his head to answer himself, he closed his eyes and smiled as he kicked his feet up, closing his eyes softly and letting sleep overwhelm him until someone had the decency to wake him up.
