"Kits listen to stories from the elders, and do not train until they become apprentices. They can choose to become a medicine cat apprentice or an apprentice training to be a warrior, right now we have both of our medicine cats, so there cannot be more medicine cat apprentices. Apprentices start their training at 6 moons, and at 12 they become warriors. Medicine cat training takes much longer. Medicine cat apprentices become full medicine cats. Once they are warriors, she-cats sometimes have kits, then become queens. And when warriors retire after many moons, they become elders. Leaders lead the clan, and the deputy is second in command."
