Charlie muttered a response before she hung up. Not three seconds later his phone went off amd he jumped. "Yeah?" He adnwered tiredly.

"I'm sorry for snapping," Molly apologized to both Jasper and Mack.

Peter gasped when he answered. "Charlie!" he exclaimed through sobs. "Are you alright?"

Charlie sat up. How could he forget to call his dad? "Dad, I'm fine. I had a layover in New York a few hours before ghe crash," he said. "Dad are you crying?"

Molly bit her lip. "I was so scared."

Peter started crying again, this time because of happiness that his son was okay. "What? N-no...I'm sweating through my eyes."

"Noy buying it, Pops," he said around a yawn. "I'm okay Dad. I promise."

Molly closed her eyes and shifted closer to him. She snuggled into him. "Thank you for helping me, Dad. And Mack."

Peter sniffled. "You swear? Not even a hangnail?"

Jasper kissed her head. "You're welcome."

"No hangnails," he said. "My nose itches though," he said.

Molly smiled a bit at Mack, still leaning into Jasper.

Peter chuckled a bit through his tears. "Then itch it, weirdo."

Charlie chuckled but yawned. "Are you okay now, Pops?"

Molly closed her eyes. "I can only handle so much emotion in one day."
