"Can't tell me what to do now," she smirked, kicking his side again.

Lukas grunted lightly, but kept snoring like a pig.

Kicking him harder, she growled and sat up.

Lukas coughed and one eye barely flickered open before snapping shut again. His mouth open as he drooled.

[.oh deer]

Charlie noticed his mouth was open and grabbed a handful of sand. She sifted it through her fingers and into his mouth.

[bunny,]

Luke gasped slightly and immediately bolted upright. He coughed harshly and wiped his mouth with his arm, spitting out sand and spit. "What is wrong with you?!" He coughed, rubbing his eyes. He shook his head, pounding a fist on his chest and rubbing his side.

"I thought you might've been hungry," she snapped sarcastically, throwing another handful at his face.

Luke flinched back as sand got in his eyes. He put his hands over his face, rubbing his eyes and standing up, wincing from the new bruise on his side. "I hope you'll be happy being alone forever," he muttered and walked off, cursing loudly.

"Don't worry, I don't need you or Eli. You do nothing but sleep and eat and waste my time here!" Charlie cursed back and pelted a small rock at him.

Luke grunted as the rock hit him in the back of the head. "Good! Have fun trying to get food and shelter!" He retorted before disappearing into the bushes.
