I bet that this is one of those things that most of you know, or should know, but what does the acronym 'WIP' actually translate to? I hope this is not dreadfully obvious, I feel like such a ...codfish? Blagh.

For example, if you were to have a wolf roleplay, would you call it literate if you wanted whoever joins to know a lot of wolf termanology? I myself would like to start a roleply like that, since I know almost every wolf term word, such as orbs, optics, peds, talons, flutes, dias, ect.

Literate tends to mean that you would suggest longer posts, not familiarity with wolf speak. Literate posts tend to be four or five paragraphs long. It also means that you expect attention paid to grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation. Literate level RPers will tend to mention/correct people if they mess up because it is assumed that people of the literate level want to improve their grammar/comma usage.

Ahh. I see. I myself am I Literate roleplayer. Though sometimes I can't post very long posts sometimes, since I usually have huge cases of Writer's Block. I was just wondering if I could include the wolf speak with it, since I get tired of using the most familar words that everyone knows. Thanks for the... Help I guess you could call it. ^.^

Well you could, but I would suggest putting it under your rules. So "Please only join if you are literate. This means that you will use proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and that you understand and will write with wolf terminology. An example of what I'm talking about is referring to the tail as a banner or the claws as talons."
Otherwise many people might not immediately understand that to you the term literate means that you use and understand the wolf terminology.

Would you call someone else controlling my 'minor' characters power-playing? They're part of the roleplay but not used as often as my main characters? For example, I have a minor character called AA. My roleplay partner uses AA in their post; powerplay or not? Just wanted an opinion ^^
