Larkpaw padded into camp. She sat down just outside the apprentice's den.

"Hey! Splash all you want but I am wet enough!" Specklepelt said angrily. She walked into the forrest and started to explain "The rain hides scents and stale scents often disappear. So lets see how good you are with finding the right scents." They headed towards Secretclan borders.

Ivycloud nodded, "She was always a sleeper, but look at me now. I guess sleeping helped her." Ivycloud flashed a sympathy glance at Petalfur. She tried to push the thought of Gingerfur dead out of her mind.

"I guess so," Kestrelclaw chuckled. "And I can't say I blame 'er. I love sleepin' too, 'specially on rainy days like this, but I thought it'd still be a good day to take y'all to the Moontree. At least it's nice an' sunny in StarClan." He inhaled the dry, warm air, then exhaled peacefully.

"Sorry," Cinderpaw giggled sheepishly. She followed Specklepelt to the SecretClan border and asked, "What scents are we looking for?"

"Well to kind of make sure no cat crossed the border. See if you can still smell Secretclan even though it is raining." Specklepelt said.

"Yeah," Ivycloud nodded. She wanted to tell Kestrelclaw how she felt but she didn't want to ruin their friendship. StarClan was a beautiful place. Ivycloud looked down in the sunny valley, it was sunny but not hot. Yet there was a faint breeze, but that didn't make it cold.

Cinderpaw did as instructed and pressed her nose to the ground, then lifted it into the air. The scents of rain and mud were all around her and it was hard to distinguish one scent from another. But as she continued to smell her surroundings, she eventually came to a conclusion. "I can smell the SecretClan scent markers a little bit, but I don't think they've crossed the border at all. Should we remark our borders too, or should we wait until it's stopped raining?"

"There is no point in marking them, the rain will make them seem stale and we would have to come re due them again." she scented the air an picked up a small scent of Secretclan, they hadn't been across the border. "Lets keep going."

(Sorry guys, but I had a snowday today, so I didn't have the chance to make the Moonwell's forum. Ill do it later tonight with my iPod, but it may look like crap.)
