Interested in Helping in a Rarity Experiment?

So just a question, have mods ever explained why rarities increase? Or is it just something unknown that you guys are trying to figure out?

I've read somewhere that the rarity is given from the ratio of pets to people.

Also, I do love these dogs, they have a really nice design, especially those eyes. But I'd like for their rarity to increase, I was a little disappointed when they all turned out very common and common. And if it works, you could try this for other pets as well~

Anyway, I'm dropping out. I don't have much time lately to trade for these dogs and they were so pretty, I kinda ended up hoarding them. Good luck ^^

Personally I could never delete a pet again (and by again, I mean that when I was a newbie, I deleted some pets because I thought they'd all the be the same and I hadn't realized I could trade yet... any way one from that litter is rare now... XD) but, I still do think this is interesting to watch and I'll be keeping an eye on this to see how it goes. (:

very interesting idea indeed! I will keep watch of this experiment.. but the dogs of that breed I currently own are being taken out of my trade folder to spare their life ^^

I guess I feel a tiny bit bad in a way. I know it's just art/pixels but still, watching the art grow into a something and knowing someone spent time and effort on it still makes me feel bad. But I still love this idea
