Lightningstorm trembled, she kept pace but was tiring. She had been out of commission with these kits for nearly 3 moons. She wasn't as fit as she used to be. The shecat tried to hide her panting, but it was loud.

Stormfire peeked at Galaxykit who seemed to be holding on for dear life. She kept running Hopi ng this didn't turn ro a fight.

I whimpered lightly, not liking not seeing where I was placing my paws. I pinned my ears to the side of my head and lowered my head. I stayed beside Ghostfang, my pelt brushing his so i knew where I was going.

Shadowpaw whimpered, almost tripping as a vision came to her. They were huge, bloody monsters. It liked like someone rupees their skin of, and bloody muscles and bones were in view. They had horribly large teeth, their jaws alone bigger than any cat. And there were so many of them. The medicine cat couldn't take the sight, and she ran forward with the new burst of petrifying horror.

Soulstar saw Shadowpaw begin to full-out run and he matched the pace, leading his clan forward. His legs began to burn, then the herbs kicked in, and he burst forward with his clan.

Ghostfang began to run faster, leading Phoenix with ever step and every jump, and also felt the herbs begin to kick in. Shadowpaw really had been prepared for everything. Another roar wiped from the leader of the monster pack, though it was much further away; but they weren't safe yet.

Stormfire kept up easily. The shecat hated to run unless she was hunting. Her eyes were focused on the forest in front of her. Her long legs stretched out. She felt the herbs kick in and she had an extra burst of speed. Lightningstorm was bringing up the rear. She was slow from being out of shape from the kits. She managed to keep up from the extra burst from the herbs

Soulstar bolted with his clan, the bodies of the cats running like the wind. They barely heard the roar, it was to far away. Finally, Soulstar began to slow down. He knew they would need the rest of the herbs energy until nightfall.
