JJ nodded and thanked her.

Sarah came out after a few minutes. "They told me I need to stay away from loud activities and no sports," she mumbled.

He nodded. "Do you want me to take you home?"

Sarah nodded slightly. "Yes please," she said quietly. Ever since JJ had suggested breaking off from whatever they had, her mood had dipped drastically.

JJ nodded and walked with her to the car. He opeded her door then git in.

"Thanks," she said quietly as she climbed into the passenger seat.

JJ nodded and drove her home. He pulled in and sighed. "I'll call or text later.,

"Okay. I'll, um...see you later." Normally Sarah would have kissed him on her way out, but she couldn't exactly do that now, could she? Instead, she offered him a weak smile and slid from the car. After a moment's pause, she shut the door and headed into her house.

He sighed and drove to his house. He went up to his room, not bothering with greetings.

Cecilie lifted her head from the book she was reading as her sob walked in. "Is everything okay?"
