Merr snarled at her as his body partially shifted. He wasn't emotional enough to shift completely, but a partial shift would do. He parted his jaws and bared his fangs to Ebony, growling. "You have no idea..." He turned away from her, his ears flicking back.

"Really?" Ebony asked raising an eyebrow "That form really isn't scary and neither are your teeth."

Ebony just smirked "No they wouldn't."

"Want to put that to the test?" He bared his fangs, allowing them to grow down to their usual length protruding from his mouth. Anything you'd like me to do?

(What should she get him to do, my mind's blank!)

Ebony just rolled her eyes "You'll just loose." She was trying to think of what task she could give Merr.

Rose sighed, she did what he told her to. "No-one else has followed..." She mumbled and blinked a few times before frowning. "Please calm down, Ivan..." She said in a warm and gentle tone. "I don't like to see you scared and stressed, there's no need to be. You know that I won't let anyone or anything hurt you." And as soon as the words rolled off Rose's tongue she blinked in slight surprise. She'd never really been the protective type, but since she'd become a werewolf her new personality was surfacing it's head.

Ivan relaxed, let his arms fall to his side and his tears finished leaving streaks across his face. It wasn't because she had told him to calm down, it was the words Rose had spoken after. Ivan turned his head to look at her, never allowing himself to catch her eye but he watched her still. He felt...better, when he was with her and the corner of his lips daringly tried to tug up into a smile, under his jacket though his face still seemed stressed. Soon his breathing slowed and his heart beat at a regular pace, that is, for someone like himself. For a moment, Ivan felt normal...well, as normal as one could be laying next to a werewolf. Slowly, he reached a hand up to feel for his right eye. He bit his lip, it was still there, the wound anyways. Ivan's scattered mind focused again on Rose. Being a wolf wasn't all she really was and he wondered if he'd still feel as comforted if she were to become human. He looked away again and spoke. "Thank you...Rose..." he mumbled. He had decided to thank her before he could find that he was afraid of her human half.

Merr laughed quietly. "Oh really..." He rolled his eyes, his fur bristling with anger. What do you require of me Ebony?
