Adding Turtle --


An octopus would be cool, but those are saltwater. Ponds are usually fresh/brackish water. Cool idea though!

WE SHOULD MAKE A LITTLE SALT WATER POOL FOR AM OCTOPUS!!! (I really want an octopus, as you can tell)

Or maybe a Bichir, or a type of air breathing fish here.

Or even a freshwater beaver here.

I really did consider that. The thing is, newts are actually a type of salamander, just like toads are a type of frog. By making them, I'd basically just be very closely replicating the regular lineart. :3

I have an idea. What about a pumpkin seed fish? There are lots in fresh water areas from my experience.

Yep! Axolotls are actually the larvae of salamanders, but since the water they live in contains no iodine, they are stuck in their larval stage forever (unless of course you add iodine, then they metamorphose and turn into this).

Axolotls were also originally cave-dwellers, so you probably wouldn't find them in a pond. :3
