Stormfur sat in front of the warrior's den, tail swaying back and forth. He watched as warriors and apprentices brought in fresh kill. "Wow, lot's of fresh kill today, Maplefur must've found a burrow..." he mewed to himself.

Stormfur changed his gaze from the fresh-kill pile to a cat sitting underneath a shady oak, she had a long, white pelt. "Woah..." he said, mouth agape. He had a weird, tingly feeling that he'd never felt before. His eyes locked onto hers, then he turned away. Maplefur nudged him when he walked into the warrior's den, "Have you got your eyes on someone, Stormfur?" he purred with amusement. "I don't know what you're talking about!" Stormfur sneered. Both cats heard Moonstar call the cats to gather, so they walked outside.
